Providing one to one session for children and adults to further enhance their knowledge of English and Arabic. Maintaining weekly sessions and providing real life situations for students to gain first-hand experience of using a foreign language. Giving students an opportunity to practice Arabic reading for them to refine their skills.
Integral to school management as part of the Early Years Team, with wide-ranging duties and responsibilities including:
•Education Welfare Officer- Monitoring and following up on absences throughout the whole school.
Early Years and KS1)
Integral part of teaching staff and key lead for learning and development of Early Years students:
•Planning and teaching from EYFS and KS1.
•Lead for creation of the reception profiles for the Reception moderation.
•Planning of learning curriculum and outcomes for all students in the Early Years, Reception and Year 1, including observing and monitoring their interests.
•Creating and uploading progress reports via the teacher-parent online portal, which is essential in maintaining the engagement of parents in their child's learning.
•Working with students with SEN and EAL.
•Trained in Safeguarding, Prevent, FGM, First Aid and EpiPen.
Early years and KS2)
•Classroom management and teacher reviews.
•Planning, teaching and learning in KS2
•Termly progress reports and on-entry assessments.
•Regular pupil progress meetings (PPM) to ensure children are being challenged.
•Planning for children with special education needs (SEN), English as an additional language (EAL) and more able learners (MAL)
•Profile books used to evidence children's learning
•Detailed observations taken of children
•Planning for indoor and outdoor provision and promoting learning through play
•Ordering and organising resources for topics yearly
•Working with parents to support children's learning through reading mornings, sports days, school assemblies and parents' evenings
•Working with children with Autism and behaviour difficulties
•Setting effective Individual Education Plans (IEP's) for children
Management of sales and marketing queries as well as being responsible for minute taking for meetings with international agents, training and development of new joiners.
