Analyze MENA region market trends, ensuring vessel cargo is maximized, managing relationships with key carrier partners & global customers, controlling the sea trade with Yield & pricing team for local offices in Red Sea, Middle East, West Africa & Asia Regions.
Job Responsibilities:-
Monitor region's performance vs. budget of all P&L items (e.g. sales volumes, ship system costs).
Establish allocation for both origin/destination to achieve average imbalance cost and revenue for the trade.
Manage & analyze UASC slot utilization into O3 network partners CMA/HJS/CSL/COS shipping lines.
Oversee capacity allocation in 4 ocean service routes deployed with fleet of 10 ships carry 4400 teus.
Port handle :SAJED, EGSOK, JOAQJ, DJJIB, SDPZU, LKCMB, MATNG, ESALG, GHTEM, NGLOS, TGLFW.
Target to increase trade volume 10% YTD budget to gain profitability on liner & feeder network.
Responsible in dealing with key accounts eg. Freight Forwarders & NVOCC based handle sectors.
Assist feeder network on space agreement with SOC Feeders/NVOCC for slot usage & exchange.
Negotiate slot swap volume with terms & condition on sector wise requirements as per agents.
Collaborate with local offices to accept NVOCC cargo loadings on UASC vsl and invoices settlements.
Lead team of 4 subordinates for operational & commercial aspect to follow KPI, SOP for improvement on customer service integrity.
Job Responsibilities:
Assist commercials to capitalize weekly 900 teus loading budget overall for all sector cargo plan.
Ship slots sale on GCC feeder service with NVOCC, freight forwarders /3rd party operators till payment adjustments.
Instruct destinations for direct box delivery to SOC operators via terminal per agents/onboard list.
Final overview on E-manifest (Import/Export) to assist customers on custom clearance & export rebate.
Look after door to door bonded haulage transportation for commercial cargo to inland dry port destinations.
Review Custom SRO for implication of duty into bonded cargo custom clearance basis commercial invoices.
Weekly customers meetings to develop new market share volume to make profitable business.
Analyze shipment delays & prioritize t/s connections through UASC H/O to avoid customer complains.
Contract negotiation with warehouse, terminal, transporters, supplier companies to negotiate their rates, terms and services to ensure resourceful output including at least 5% YTD cost saving element.
Settle complaints/quires of clients by collaborate internally/externally with relevant port, custom, 3rd party vendors and government authorities to ensure efficient support in company business activities.
DG /Reefer /OOG / Special Class Cargo Planning’s & cargo claim handling shipment for cost of recovery.
Manage good relationships with key exporter/importer customers and attending weekly meetings to enhance containers volume support and resolve frequent issues with operation to make profitable business for origination also with the intention of satisfying customers demand.(Clients : UTI, Hellmann Logistics, American Eagle, Unilever, P&G.)
Achievements:
Negotiate 10% low vendor rates considering 200 teus monthly warehouse volume gain further profits.
100% achieved allocation target sector wise during Q4/13 & all quarter of 2014.
Job Responsibilities:
.Supervise cargo planning activities with port prior to the ship arrival till departure + logistics support to ship crew.
.Liaise on with customer, freight forwarders for effective export operation flow of shipments to all trade zones.
.Achieved weekly full & down export commercial 700 teus targets jointly with sales team.
.Minimize ops billing cost 15% YTD by monitoring vendor i.e.: terminal depot, transporter, custom broker performance efficiently and assist management for better rate negotiation.
.Manage FIFO basis supply & demand to manage equipment situation in Pakistan with reduce dwell time.
. Follow-up on leased containers to off hire as per contract into desired port location.
.Control imbalance position for availability of containers in upcountry for export loadings.
OOCL Logistics Team Project responsibilities:-
.Nominate ship as per P.O & L/C terms to meet destination cargo delivery deadline of export customers.
.Review commercial invoice, packing list, purchase orders to prepare (SI)shipping instruction of CFS/CY shipment.
.Arrange vendor for custom clearance, port duty to enhance liner e-commerce business and meet satisfaction level.
.Arrange vendor for export cargo loading in warehouse with trucking to gate-in terminal for loading onboard.(Clients:Damco, DB Shenker, Walmart, MGH Logistics).
Job Responsibilities:-
Attend client’s inquiries, Freight Charges, invoices, vsl schedules, shipment /documents status & etc. Effective rate negotiation with overseas agents, liners and customers to finalize sales lead.
Filling OCF rate basis shipment quotation to confirm bookings of vessel slots to export customers.
Maintain 400 teus export bookings to Far East, Indian Sub-Continent into weekly vessel/voyage.
Weekly review outstanding reports to collect D&D/THC/CRO & etc invoice charges as per SOP.
Review of global key accounts nomination contracts for additional business to achieve sales targets. Verify import sales lead with local consignee till issuance of D/O with collection of local charges.
Coordinating with agents for freight manifest, B/L copy, discharge list for arrival notice to customer. Knowledge of export documentation, organize release of containers, Bill of Lading & INCOTERMS. Ensure customers are notified of all respective charges/invoices are raised within 2 days after activity.

Support warehouse manager to maintain WMS system, stocks issuance flow & organize space for improvement.
Monthly stock reconciliation by verifying physical quantity for variance in WMS system.
Liaising with supplier as per purchase order for goods receiving, short shipped, stuffing plan for export loading.
Coordinate with transporter /port operation section to arrange labor for stuffing cargo basis shipment deadline.
Constantly inspect equipment to identify shortage & damages for smooth flow operation as per management.
