Ensures the Quality Assurance
• Maintain, Develop and continually improve the QMS and PQP. This includes driving the change
Management System.
• Interactively follow up on the Compliance of both operational and support procedures within
the project.
• Regressively report Project Quality Progress to Project Lead and Organization Excellence Manager.
• Preparing for QMS Management Reviews (MR). Then follow up with MR recommendations o
Closure.
• Effectively initiate NCR investigations, follow up with the establishment of correction actions
and verify the effectiveness of the corrective actions.
• Driving the application of NCR investigations initiated by the Project team in line with the
predefined procedure.
• Support in Planning and conducting the Internal Audits. Then follow up with Audit findings to
closure.
• Drive and consolidate Risk and Opportunity Management Programs and follow up with
Mitigation actions to Closure.
• Following up with obtaining Customer Feedback and report any relevant issues to Top
Management.
• Progressively liaise with and provide consultation to Project teams on issues related to the
QMS and PQP.
• Providing training and awareness sessions on Aspects related to the QMS and PQP.
• Coordinate and responsible for the communications with the Third-Party Auditors, Classification
society and the client on the aspects related to Project Quality Management.
• Effectively support on Final Acceptance and Delivery of Assets on Both Client’s and
Classification’s requirement Compliance.
• Coordinate and lead the activities related to the External Audits on the progressing
Projects.
• Ensures the Quality Assurance of :
o Part B of KSA Programes.
o Naval Group KSA Company
• Guarantees all elements related to the Quality issues of KSA Programmes and of NAVAL Group KSA by.
o Setting-up & adapted the NAVAL Group KSA Business Management System and ensuring its implementation.
• Ensuring the availability on time of all Quality Records necessary for the acceptance of line of works per ship by the Customer,
• Guaranteeing towards the DP KSA that the work has been performed and that the product to be delivered to the Customer has been built in accordance with rules and measures foreseen by the QMS and the Programme Management and Quality Plan, and that all Customer’s requirements have been fulfilled,
• Ensuring the Quality Assurance of local suppliers, and participating to all necessary surveys,
• Ensuring that purchasing Quality Assurance measures are set-up and fulfilled by the suppliers,
• Managing all hold points,
• Setting-up program quality indicators,
• Performing all necessary NAVAL Group KSA quality audits et supporting all other audits that may be requested,
• Being the interlocutor of DGA and ODAS representatives in KSA (in their role of Quality Assurance Controller of Part B activities) and following-up all the related actions,
• Proposing preventive/corrective actions resulting from reviews, audits and potential Customer’s claims, or identified internally, and piloting them, so contributing to the avoidance of reproduction of non-quality issues,
• Setting-up actions aiming to develop a Quality culture within all internal participants to KSA programs,
• Supporting the teams for using quality tools,
• Updating as necessary the Program Management and Quality Plan,
• Managing accordingly the Quality representatives of DP KSA and of NAVAL Group KSA.
As such:
• Pilots the NAVAL Group KSA Quality Reviews related to Part B of LEX and ERAV programs;
• Consolidates the KSA programs quality indicators.
Contribute to supplier development for the DCNS Support KSA activities.
Oversee of quality activities, perform audits and ensure their application.
1.1. Initial Evaluation of supplier.Conduct audits at the supplier’s premises to evaluate capabilities, opportunities and improvement points.Forward the results to management, including Engineer’s suggestions, and get their feedback.Ensure the implementation of the feedback with the evaluated supplier.
1.2. Quality applications.To ensure the compliance of technical files sent to suppliers.To verify compliance with standards and quality requirements expressed by DCNS .
1.3. Qualification of supplier.Prepare a qualification process.Perform the audit at the supplier’s premises.Prepare the report of audit and release the audit results.Setup and oversee the of key dashboards.verify the implementation of the Plans of actions With Suppliers.
2.1. Coordination with Quality & Purchase team.Participate in the launch meeting with suppliers.Coordinate with Purchasing team to select the suitable supplier.To ensure that :The required works/reports are written and can be understood.
the works/reports performed at the workshop level are compliant with the requirements written in the Scope of Work/Specifications.The performed works are written in the reports. And the achievements are compliant with the requirements mentioned in the Scope of Work.The actions are defined, followed in the action plans and shared with suppliers to enable them to progress in quality.
2.2. Sustaining Activities:Instruct the supplier & Team about their audit performance.Oversee the job status at the supplier’s premises and prevent any deviations.Report to the Quality Manager and Purchasing team about supplier’s deviations.Setup and oversee the corrective plans and preventive plans, by using some quality tools.Setup and oversee the corresponding actions plans.If required, setup Kaizen and 5S, and oversee the implementation.
• Create and control procedure of quality in parallel with other departments best on mother company standers
• Ensure that the organization’s Quality Management System confirms to customer, internal, ISO 9001, and regulatory/legal requirements.
• Ensure evaluation of, and reporting on, vendor quality systems.
• Manage the monitoring, measurement, and review of internal processes, especially those that affect the quality of the organization’s products.
• Work with customers, employees, contractors, and outsourcing firms to develop product requirements.
• Report to top management on the performance of the QMS (e.g., results of quality audits, corrective actions), including the need for improvement.
• Conduct periodic management review meetings.
• Responsible for accuracy and timely inspection/calibration of monitoring and measuring devices.
• Keep up on standards, regulations/laws, issues, and news with respect to product (service) quality.
• Cooperate in managing with colleagues work activity
• Control the Risk and action plan regarding the quality progress
• Control and flow the welding qualification
