Partner with technical teams to design catalyst beds, propose technical and commercial offers, and solve technical issues for customers
Monitor catalyst performance for over 30 plants on a daily basis and support plants in improving performance and achieving on-spec effluent

Achieve yearly sales targets and CoMa for ME, and ensure on-time revenue recognition and material delivery
Proactively approach current and new customers with updated portfolio, regularly check customers' needs and proactively plan for next years sales
Manage Clariant office in Jubail in allocating budgets, monitoring and leading staff and ensuring excellent relationships with customers
Establish and update market analysis for ethylene and polymer plants on quarterly basis, including searching and adding emerging projects to forecasts

Conducted several studies on: hybrid Model Predictive Control- Extremum Seeking Control MPC-ESC, and nonlinear stochastic MPC.
Presented findings of: MPC-ESC hybrid control at the Canadian Chemical Engineering Conference; and stochastic MPC at the Queen's Seminar Day.
Attended several conferences in Canada, including two Control and Optimization Conferences, two Canadian Chemical Engineering Conferences, and two Control and Stats Conferences.
Developed a new control architecture, combining three types of controllers: nonlinear, sampled-data, and stochastic MPC. The developed controller is a
breakthrough, as the controller was able to control noisy systems to a precision of 99.3% from only a previous precision of 8.0%.
Taught about 400 students in few courses: Statistics and Process Control.
Proactively arranged special tutorials before midterms and finals for students to clarify ambiguities and revise course material.
Received perfect rating on all three semesters I TA'ed, and was selected to be the lead TA for a couple of courses.

Succeeded in improving an existing procedure for molecular sieves regeneration by reducing hot gas temperature and duration. Company savings
were about 2.5 million SAR/year.
Attended many safety and about 20 managerial courses related to chemical plants, work environment, and operation management.
Initiated an operation project to increase recycle purity for an LLDPE plant, where the savings were estimated to be around $3.0 million a year.
Trained many new operators and engineers.
I was responsible to give tours, DCS trainings, and engineering trainings.

Received basic training in PID controllers tuning.
Performed several tuning tasks for PID controllers.
Completed a control tuning training with Honeywell.
