Manage the engineering and procurement activities in the project pre-award phase and project post-award phase by maintaining close interaction between the engineering, procurement and concerned operations & also manage the engineering design changes during execution of the projects where the engineering is in the scope.
Manage the centralized procurement activities for the concerned operations.
Ensure compliance with the purchase order/project schedule requirements through expediting /inspection at manufacturer’s/supplier’s premises in an orderly and systematic way and highlight deviations, delay or damages if any, prior to shipment.
Provide engineering and procurement services as required by proposals and operations during the pre-award and post-award phases of the projects respectively.
Involve in projects as team member of cross functional team CFT of E&P by carrying Engineering, Procurement, Shop inspection, material control, Engineering & Procurement Planning, Contract administration and commissioning activities in projects where engineering in the scope.
Responsible for procurement, Large and small sub-contract agreement, processing purchase orders to suppliers, materials expediting & logistics and customs clearance.
Technically support Engineering of E&P by providing the following services:
• Prepare design, shop drawings & as built drawing.
• Manpower for material take off, technical evaluation, value engineering, material submittal reviews.
• Maintain a technical library of standards.
Summary of Accomplishments
Leading the electrical design process (from client requirements collection up to the final design and shop
drawings)
Dealing with engineering software i.e. ETAP-6, lighting calculation &AutoCAD.
Electrical Project Engineer with one of the leading district cooling contractor in the Gulf - ADC Energy
system.
Completed project portfolio includes 2 district cooling plants of total 115, 000 Ton Refrigerant capacity
Design engineer of all electrical aspects of the district cooling plants including (MV switchgears, LV
switchgears, Transformers, cables selection and sizing, voltage drop analysis, short circuit analysis, and
motors starting and loading analysis)
Hands on experience on installation, testing and commissioning of electrical and instrumentation equipments.
Successfully managed complex and fast track electrical installation and commissioning of DIP-6 and DIP-3
(115, 000TR capacity) feeding dunis village & palsedes village for Emicool.
Successfully coordinated with electrical and other local authorities for various approvals and NOC.
Investigate and study the entire Tender Documents, Analyze and prepare the Tender requirements, Send
queries to the client/consultant for any dispute encountered against Specifications, BOQ and Drawing.
