I am working as a Senior Auditor (Job In-charge) in the Audit & Assurance Department of Jitendra Chartered Accountants. My roles and responsibilities were:
Planning, Supervision and completion of the audits along with preparation of financial statements.
Managing teams at the audits of various clients and ensuring effective and efficient completion of audit.
Attending kick off and planning meetings to obtain an initial understanding of the clients business, assessing the risk at various levels, discussion and resolution of significant issues with the client and manager during the course of an audit and finalization meetings with partner and manager to complete the audit in efficient manner.
Co-ordination with professionals in various fields like department of legal, QCR and IT experts
Reviewing the work of team members and to provide on job training to the staff members.
Ensuring compliance with the IFRSs, ISAs and other relevant local laws.
Completion of the audit files using the company specific audit software.
Following are the major engagements in which I was job in-charge / team leader:
Finalization of engagements, such as holding close meetings with clients for resolution of significant matters; drafting reports; and preparing management letters and presentations for clients’ understanding.
Leading audit teams of 5-7 persons and directing them in executing the audit field work.
Reviewing final set of financial statements prepared in accordance with reporting framework and resolving critical reporting matters on timely basis.
Statutory annual audit conducted in accordance with International Standards on Auditing (ISAs) for financial statements prepared in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRSs), local reporting requirements.
Half yearly review conducted in accordance with International Standards on Review Engagement (ISREs) for financial statements prepared in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRSs).

Assisting in the assessment and management of business risk.
Evaluating internal control systems, identifying control weaknesses and making appropriate recommendations to the management.

ACCA is an Affiliate Certified Chartered Accountancy of UK. It is in 170 countries with 140,000 Members Globally.
Certificate in the Professional Ethics Module (June 2012) is a certificate given to me by ACCA Global Body, UK.
2011 Advanced Diploma in Accounting and Business is given to me by ACCA UK.
