Depot Controller, Operations Control Center (OCC), Mar 2024 - Present
• Manage and oversee train operations within the depot, ensuring safety and efficiency.
• Liaise with Traffic Controller, Roster Planner, and Timetable Planner to ensure train and crew availability for
unexpected events.
• Monitor rolling stock status and execute necessary actions based on operational requirements.
• Maintain depot KPIs and perform workshop movements.
• Set up, implement, and remove possession while establishing a safe system of work to protect personnel working
on or near the track.

- Monitor, identify, document, and investigate any inconsistencies that affect the safety and security of Passengers, Employees, and facilities.
- Operation of the various computer-based customer information systems (SCADA, ISM, ICT, SMS).
- Provide full and timely information on the current train running and departures.
- Ensure announcements made via recorded announcement system and manually provide both routine train departure information and customer information at times of disruption or incident.
- Monitor the CCTV in the stations and rolling stock.
- Report any Customer Information faults to the Engineering and Fault Controller.
- Maintaining and updating the E log with all events during the shift.

Supervise all the daily activities of station staff and contractors in the passenger check in and boarding area, ticket office, waiting area, lost property, car park, baggage loading, vehicle loading and station control room. I am the shift /duty ‘landlord’ of a station and all persons working in a station are subject to my authority.
Ensuring that the station facilities are in a safe and good working order. Provide effective communications and information with internal and external parties. Produce the Test Case Reports. Attend the Hot De-Brief and take notes after every Test Case. Submitting the report to the Operations Readiness Manager.

*Coordination with departments to identify their manpower needs

*Followup recruitment procedures
*Preparations of Excel sheets to follow up recruitment procedures and employees' requests.
