•Build long term financial strategy for the company with special emphasis on value creation and growth.
•Responsible for all finance, accounting, internal Control, external reporting and other compliance matters related to the Saudi Legal Entity.
•Healthy and a proper relation with the Zakat and Income Department, assure documents and accounts are accurate and follow the regulations set by the government.
•Ensure compliance with the internal controls, financial policies, and local reporting and tax regulations.
•Provide strategic financial input and leadership on major decisions affecting the organization.
•Maintain and prepare timely and accurate financial statements, reports and presentations with all needed financial reports, schedules and KPIs.
•Prepare and review contracts/payment terms with the clients and assure the feasibility of all projects.
•Liaising and working with external advisors on the preparation of statutory financial information monthly withholding and income tax preparation and submission.
•Managing the external support services for different functions such as Human Resources & Administration, Payroll, Finance, and Procurement & Contracts.
•Manage and support all the procurement process for the Saudi vendors with the internal global Procurement team.
•Effective management of real estate, fixed assets, facilities support, insurance policies, utilities vendors, general services, and mobile phones.
•Ensure that the company continuously keeping sufficient fund to fulfill its financial obligation by preparing monthly cash flow forecast. Monitor the actual cash flow against forecast and take the necessary measure to remedy variances.
•Establish long term relationship with banks and other financial institutes. Run the negotiations with banks to secure the best deal for the company.
•McGraw Hill Board Member and Legal Representative for the Saudi legal entity.
•Technical accounting support on US GAAP, IFRS and Local GAAP matters impacting the KSA business.

- Manage, control and ensure that company accounting activities and procedures conform to generally accepted accounting principles and comply with the approved policies and procedures of the company.
- Develop all necessary systems, policies and procedures to ensure effective and efficient financial management within the company.
- Develop and maintain timely and accurate financial statements, reports and presentations with all needed financial reports and costing analysis comparing with Budget and KPIs
- Present financials and budget numbers to the president and the board in monthly basis.
- Prepare all supporting information for the annual audit and liaise with the Board's Audit Committee and the external auditors as necessary.
- Develop and control the company’s annual operating budget to ensure that all financial targets are met .
- Positively engage in a business-partnering role with the MD and the operational teams to deliver the required business results.
- Report weekly / quarterly revenue and profit outlook (flash) in timely manner.
- Effectively Perform economic research work and prepare analysis of subjects such as rates of return, working capital, investment and other financial and expense performance comparisons.
- Constantly reviewing cost, spending and initiate strategies regarding cost saving, profit generating opportunities and profitability improvement strategies.
- Design, establish, and maintain an organizational structure and staffing to effectively accomplish the department's goals and objectives
- Prepare financial analysis for contract negotiations and product investment decisions and discussed it with the board members for approval.

- Lead and coordinate with all other department the preparation of annual operating budget
- Coach and mentor the team members to ensure effective and efficient finance operations

- Define budgets and cost structure for operation units, including capex, working capital, cash flows and product mix.

- Provide support in formulatings CAPEX budgets to ensure that investments are operationally efficient and cost effective .

-Review reported results, compare to budgets and forecasts, and explain significant variances for Shared Services functions

-On-timely basis; prepare and submit Comparative analysis reports, scenarios and various other analytical reports, and other ad hoc reports, in order to assist Management in decision-making.

- Prepare forecasts and analyzes of trends in manufacturing, sales, finance and general business conditions .

- Create Executive level presentations of business cases, financial and operational results.

- Interact and work closely with the reporting teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.

- DSO monitoring and support.

- Provide trainings to the finance/operational teams as assigned.

-Experience in SAP & Hyperion.

- Other duties and responsibilities as delegated

-Handling day-to-day duties relating to projects, suppliers payables.
-Ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met.

-Responsible for monthly AP related liability accruals during
month-ends including AP Parked Invoice, intercompany invoices and T&E Accruals.

-.Performs all other duties as required or assigned by the Finance Manager.

-Keeping track of the inventory, accounts payable, accounts receivables and data entry.
