General Description:
Provide volunteering opportunities for international students to volunteer in social impact projects in Bahrain that contributes to the sustainable development goals (SDGs)
Role Description:
• Coached and managed a diverse network of 4 local branches to deliver an integrated exchange program to 300+ youth from over 30 countries in the world, leading to 68% growth of the program and making AIESEC in Bahrain ranking 4th in the MEA region.
• Developed and delivered 3 social impact projects that are aligned to the United Nation's Sustainable Development Goals led to impacting over 2034 beneficiaries from different private schools and NGOs in Bahrain
• Set and ensure running strategy of supply & demand alignment of international volunteers with local opportunities requirements.
• Designed and ensured implementation of cultural preparation seminars for the program participants to integrate them and prepare them for the program.
• Develop and ensure execution of member education cycle for over 60 Bahrainis to handle social projects and integration of international volunteers in Bahrain
• Ensured quality and impact assessment of local community development projects with 94% promoters through which we received honorary awards from Capital Governorate and Prince Nasser bin Hamad.
• Successfully increased conversion rate from interested applicants to volunteers in Bahrain from 21% to 40%
• Developed a framework to facilitate the volunteer's journey during and post their experience in Bahrain.
• Led a local chapter that consists of 70+ members to deliver +160 opportunities for students to have personal and professional experience abroad.
• Responsible for empowering Bahraini fresh graduates and senior students to have professional internships abroad in more 7 countries with a 433% growth rate.
• Developed and improved systems and processes for measuring and reporting membership performance within the local chapter.
• Developing a growth path for the local chapter and succession plan.
• Managed continuous communication between AIESEC in Bahrain national and local office.
• Managed university relations with AIESEC and integration of its programs in universities in Bahrain.
• Ensure proper financial reporting and auditing towards all branch operations
Global Volunteer Program:
is an opportunity for a young Bahrainis to develop Leadership Qualities of self-awareness, solution orientation, empowering others and world citizenship while by living a cross-cultural volunteer experience. In the product a young person volunteers abroad on social impact projects that contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals.
Role Description:
1. Managed CRM tools to track customers.
2. Led a team of 20 to enable young Bahrainis to volunteer abroad.
3. Managed all logistical needs and preparation for sending Bahrainis abroad.
4. Developed customer flow and processes to ensure good customer service.
5. Ensure implementation of standards of the program.
6. Managed program financial reporting and internal auditing.
Ajyal Program:
an educational program that targets the development of different skills and competencies through enabling, training & teaching youth basic business skills and knowledge needed to create their own startups, activate their leadership and implement the principles of Bahrain 2030 economic vision.
Role Description:
1. Organized weekly and monthly touchpoint for organizing a team for Ajyal project management.
2. Created project charter with budget and volunteers job description.
3. Run weekly feedback sessions with international volunteers.
4. Develop project activities and educational program to be delivered in schools and universities.
5. Delivered Ajyal Program in over 8 universities and private schools around Bahrain for over 300 students
