Responsibility:

I am responsible of monitoring and maintaining the network, servers and any telecommunications equipment in the company datacenter.
My essential duties are technician troubleshoots the network, makes repairs and gets the system back up as quickly as possible.
There are three main roles in our job: to ensure maximum possible service availability and performance, to provision customer network services on core equipment and to provide support services for engineering and other technical teams.
Also, I am responsible for building and maintaining the day-to-day operation of computer networks that companies and organizations rely on. These networks typically include an intranet, extranet, local area network (LAN), and wide area network (WAN)
Most of our essential functions and responsibilities are:

- Responsible for managing and coordinating the NOC team. The main aim for this coordination is to ensure that the networking system runs efficiently without interruption.
- Responsible for security of the network systems that include Routers, Firewalls, Switches, PBX platforms, Circuits and servers evidencing strong knowledge of security, switching, and routing technologies.
- Working knowledge of configuration, maintenance, integration and deployment of an enterprise backbone network telecommunications system and service configuration, troubleshoot and configure VLAN, Xconnect layer 2, VRF and ISAM, DSLAM ports.
- Working knowledge of layer 2 and layer 3 switching routing protocols: i.e. MPLS, BGP, OSPF, VPN, VLAN, DNS, DHCP.
- Working knowledge BGP Peer/Core Traffic monitoring/route balancing/route optimization.
- Advice customers with best design solution for his service and escalated the solution to SALES.
- Working knowledge IP/MPLS Implementation /troubleshooting, Deployment and Service Activation escalations.
- Maintain the PBX and company phone system and work closely with the phone service provider to keep the lines active.
- Maintaining and administering computer networks and related computing environments including systems software, applications software, hardware, and configurations.
- Review and general clean-up of ticket queue.
- Speak to customers via email and phone for initial requirement capture.
- Provide remote support to on-site engineers and end users/customers during installation.
- Interact with other departments to execute project tasks including progress tracking with minimal oversight to deliver network projects in a timely manner to the business.
- Responsible for network wireless connectivity like “Microwave, 4G, Access point” and resolve any wireless communication issues.
- Configuring VOIP services for corporate customers though different media connections (Fiber / DSL / GPON / Wireless/4G)
- Troubleshoot voice services for all LAN and WAN hardware components, and configure correct communication media segments, Working with Different IP VoIP HW vendor i.e. “cisco, Xontel, Yester, Avaya”.
- support users and troubleshoot all their VoIP issues within an entire organization/company.
- Configure and optimize secure telephone systems, including Cisco telecommunications and networking products to include all voice switches and data network hardware at the intermediate.
- Expertise using collaboration gateways like Cisco Expressway
- Very good knowledge of TELES Voice System and I was part of Migration Team.
- Definition customer in TELES and do the basic configuration.
- Analyze and troubleshoot internal and external VOIP issues in Cisco Centrex CUCM.
