Lead a team of 5 HR Executives providing over-all HR support to 1500 employee - 13 different nationalities.
Performance Management:
• Updated the existing Performance Management framework to fit the needs of Commercial team as Staff category & supervisor and above category and set up competencies mapping.
• Successfully implemented the Performance appraisal methods around the group through ERP.
• Helped HR Head & Commercial Heads in assigning KPI and KRAs to all the Department of Hypermarkets and the Company’s Group business.
• Compiled and Followed up on Quarterly Achievements of Individuals on accepted KPI
• Successfully controlled the Grievances over Performance appraisal through justification.
Payroll Management:
• Handled the Payroll processing for the Bahrain full operations (10 Business Units + 1 Mall).
• Coordinating with the Stores Manager for Incentive, Deduction, Sick, Absent, Vacation to avoid discrepancy.
• Processing Payroll through ERP system and MS Excel sheet with all check list.
• Providing supporting documents to Finance Department for New Joinee, promotion, Increment etc.,
• Handled the GOSI, LMRA Payments & also Monthly Staff Cost report to Management.
Manpower Planning & Budget:
• Handled Headcount Report (Bi-monthly) to track the Vacancies and prioritise the recruitment of specialist and difficult job positions such as Bakers, Cook, Security etc.,
• Prepared Annual Manpower Budget planning & proposal to the Finance Department and Country Head.
• For New Stores - planning Manpower requirement as per size to calculated staff requirement and Budget.
• Prepared the Organization Chart and periodically updated the same to regularise Report pattern in ERP
Recruitment:
• Successfully Recruited Mid to Senior Level positions in retail sectors such as Category Managers, Buyers, Operation Managers, Purchase Managers etc.,
• Handled Bulk recruitment from India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Philippines, Egyptian, Jordanian, and Turkish.
• Also maintained the Bahrainisation Quota through local Bahraini Recruitment through Tamkeen.
• Successfully handled the Bulk Recruitment of 1600 employees for Kuwait operations opening.
Policy framing and ERP Implementation:
• Prepared the Employee Handbook, updated the Company Policies in line with country’s Labour Law.
• Proposed the policy change requirement to Corporate office to make necessary changes in leave Policy, Air ticket encashment policy, Bahrain Workforce minimum salary policies etc.,
Visa & General Administration:
• Handled all pre-employment and on-board requisites for new employees like Visa, Arrival, Accommodation, Labour Card, Food Card & Medical Insurance
• Deep knowledge in all type of Visa formalities (UAE - JAFZA, Kuwait, Bahrain)
• Handled the employees End of Service process with accurate Gratuity, Leave eligibilities.
• Proposed and successfully implemented Employee engagement activities such as Showcase Talent programs, Employee of month, Staff grievances suggestion Box & Employee of the month.
• Responsible for maintaining the HR database and records of Annual Leave, Sick Leave, Air ticket, Absent and Support Monthly Payroll Process
