I have proficiency in setting up, configuring & troubleshooting CommVault Simpana v9.0, Simpana v 10.0 and v11 as well as configuring SQL and Oracle agent using CommVault; TSM application on the TSM server and BA Client on the client server. Configure TDP client for the SQL, Oracle database. Presently associated as Team Lead (CommVault & TSM) with FIS (FIS took over SunGard), Pune, I am involved in managing activities related to migration of client production servers from TSM environment to CommVault environment; upgrading CommVault environment from v9.0 to v10 and from v10 to v11. I am also working on new CI environment (US datacenter) for effectively resolving auxiliary copy and library issues; involved in maintaining updated knowledge of v5.5, v6.1 and v6.2 for conducting knowledge transfer to a team of 6 members to ensure effective L3/L4 troubleshooting.
Earlier, I was associated as Team Lead with SunGard India, Pune, where I was involved in migration and upcoming new projects of Data Centers located in US, EMEA and APAC including installation & configuration of CommServer and Media agents. I was also responsible for monitoring Backup Window, re-running of failed back up including restoration of data and troubleshooting of back up failures in my role as L1/L2 Engineer.
