Provides the necessary advice to the Site Manager on site health and safety issues.
Monitors compliance to the Company HSE procedure by conducting regular inspections and internal auditing of site
activities.
Monitor compliance with established site safety rules and make sure these are conspicuously posted .
Undertakes as a minimum a weekly safety inspection and prepares a report for submittal and review with the Site
Manager. This report is also transmitted to the HSE Coordinator.
Conduct a daily tour of the working areas and log details of the observations on the Daily Observation Register.
Unsafe conditions and unsafe acts are to be reported immediately. Raise Near Miss / Incident Reports when
highlighted.
Report immediately to the Site Manager any serious safety breaches that place workers in life-threatening
situations.
Performing risk assessments and identifying safe systems of work to be recorded in safe work method statements.
Develop and deliver internal training courses on health and safety topics to the site team.
Undertake a weekly Toolbox Talk with site assigned personnel and ensure that records are maintained of the talks.
Assist Construction Supervisors in delivering Pre-Task Briefings to the workforce on the control measures identified
in risk assessments and the safe system of work to be adhered to.
Develop and deliver the Site Safety Orientation Training for all workers including Subcontractors and visitors prior to
starting work or visiting the site.
Assist the Construction Manager in the development of safety procedures for high-risk activities and assist in
briefing of the workforce on their responsibilities under these procedures. Audit against these procedures regularly
and report any non-compliance to the Site Manager.
Complete the incident notification and investigations and issue the report within 3 hours to the Site Manager & HSE
Manager.
Review subcontractor Health & Safety plans .
Audit the registers and permit systems maintained for lifting equipment, lifting accessories, excavations, confined
spaces, hot works, Lock-out/Tag-out, etc.
Advise the Construction Supervisors and Construction Manager relative to the requirements the according HSE
policy.
Provide weekly input of HSE statistics and data to HSE Manager .
Exercise professional conducts at all times .
conduct Toolbox Talk sessions.
Responsible of work permits for work activities (scaffolding, excavation, confined space, Hot work….etc.).
• Liaise with the client site safety representative and other plant concern authorities or contractor on work related safety requirements on site.
• Assist Sup. Contractors Safety Supervisor or Sr. Safety Officer in carrying out his duties and responsibilities
• Monitor Sup. Contractors HSE Supervisor performance on site
• Implement safety programs of client.
• Monitoring of issued permits.
• Make tool box talks/safety orientation as schedule
• Gas testing for confined space
• Radiation testing for NDT Work.
• Report all unsafe conditions/ practice and take corrective action
• Carry out daily, weekly, monthly audit and inspection of all preventive equipment, storage and workplace.
• Conduct full investigation on accident/incident including near-misses and determine probable causes and enforce appropriate permanent preventive measures.
• Working to do all the safety requirements for rode diversions at mane rode.
Enforces Health, Safety and Environment policies and procedures for Compliance with Client's Requirements and
safety standards.
Ensure workplace safety comply with HSE statutory requirements.
Implement and promote HSE programs.
Conduct regular site safety inspection and follow up actions.
Accident-incident investigation.
