Supporting the development of OHS policies and programs.
Advising and instructing on various safety-related topics (Fire Fighting, work at height use of machinery
etc.).
Conducting risk assessment and enforcing preventative measures across territory facilities.
Review existing policies and ensure compliance to all relevant legislation.
Initiate and organize OHS training for Employees and Executives.
Conduct regular inspections of premises and personnel to identify issues or nonconformity (e.g. not using
protective equipment).
Oversee installations of equipment, General maintenance, disposal of any substances etc.
Stop any unsafe acts or processes that seem dangerous or unhealthy.
Record and investigate incidents to determine causes and handle worker’s compensation claims.
Prepare reports on occurrences and provide statistical information to upper management.
Carrying out drills and exercises on managing emergency situations.
Conducting investigations on accidents.
Responding to workers’ safety concerns.
Manages all communications with government departments in regards of safety.
Coordinates all issues regarding hazardous materials or waste.
Assisting with the preparation of a construction health and safety plan, testing effectiveness of site
emergency response plans.
Attending project planning meetings and collaborating with construction managers.
Continuous monitoring of all safety related documents, reports and issues to keep them updated.
Answering or making calls to clients to learn about their needs, complaints, or other issues with services and Making recommendations for products.
Utilizing software, databases, scripts, and tools appropriately.
Adhering to all company policies and procedures.
