Duties Performed:
(1) Audit:
I have been involved as a CPA practitioner in various clients in the field of audit, my experience ranges along private limited companies in Real Estate and Financial Services Sectors (IDS Real Estate Group, Inc & Etilize, Inc.).
The following are the major tasks that I have performed during these five years three times:
· Consulted with senior managers and Shareholders in order to setup engagement objectives and determine the audit strategy in accordance with US GAAP.
· Obtained deep understanding of the client’s industry, business and marketplace. Identified relevant trends, developments and key performance drivers relevant to the client. Basically obtained understanding of the internal control and assessed the control risk to plan the audit.
· Identified the business and financial risks areas and developed the strategies to address these issues.
· Designed audit programs for internal control test, run analytical procedures to design substantive test and run the audit in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards.
· Ensured that the financial statements prepared by the clients are in accordance with the US GAAP, all applicable local laws and regulations.
· Delegated work to staff involved and reviewed the work performed.
· Prepared other deliverables, such as management representation letter, identified internal control weaknesses, business improvement opportunities, legal non-compliances and accounting system deficiencies, their resultant risks and suggestions to improve.
