I have been involved in different tasks and duties during my period at Jubail Industrial College. These duties include:
1. regular teaching
2. preparing and administering written and oral tests
3. presenting 'model' lessons for newly hired teachers
4. working on committees designed for accreditation purposes
5. a member in the advisory panel for Unlock Basic designed by Cambridge University for pre-A1 learners, which was published in 2017.
6. engaged in writing dramatic sketches as extra-curricula activities
7. piloting Cambridge English language materials designed for Arabic-speaking learners
I studied 15 courses ranging from materials development, to second language acquisition, to ELT management, to language testing, to research methods in a three- year period before I embarked on my dissertation. My dissertation topic investigates when it is better to attract learners' attention to form during communicative practice.
This is a certificate in teaching language online.
The main focus was mainly on language and language teaching courses. There was a slim literature component as well.
