Responsibilities:
•I Worked with team to build data Network fort ITC in Saudi Arabia
• Install, connect and configure all ITC POP (PE) sites, aggregators and WiMax base stations.
• Configure, implement and test services on Cisco routers.
• Design an IP addressing and VLANs scheme to meet design requirements
• Implement & maintain essential security setups.
• Update all data related to Network configuration & setup and Implement Microsoft Visio Topology
• Coordinates with Operations, Project Managers, Sales department to Deliver the best quality of service to the customer
• Converged Network Requirements of various network and networked applications within the Cisco network architectures and Troubleshoot network problems
• Follow up on actions and measures taken by related teams to resolve outstanding issues.
• Provide 2nd line support for the day to day operation and maintenance of Saudi Telecom Company Enterprise data network.
• Remotely troubleshoot data network faults using Cisco IOS commands/tools in Cisco Routers and Switches. Applying skills in routing protocols (RIP, IGRP, OSPF, BGP)and L2 switching related (spanning tree, VLAN, VTP, trunking etc)
• Provide technical support for field Engineers in Changing, Upgrading and configuring remote network devices (Routers, Switches, Modems, Port masters ... etc).
• Handle and resolve all trouble tickets and problems related to Data Network for STC.
• Installing, configuring and maintaining various Cisco networking products such as the layer 2 and layer 3 switches and various series of Cisco routers.
• Lead and supervise Tier 1 field engineers' kingdom wide in troubleshooting and solving network connectivity problems.
• Work closely with proactive support teams like NMS and Security group in ensuring network availability, optimum performance, and security.
• Escalate needed issues to 3rd line support and to venders.
• Coordinate with design and implementation department to implement all approved changes and ensure proper operation and network connectivity as per the design.
• Coordinate with Telco support groups like Special circuit and Transmission in addressing special circuit related problems, such as Leased lines, DSL, E1, Frame Relay, ATM; and with Carrier Switching groups in resolving X25 link problems.
• Monitoring &managing Cisco switches & routers with Cisco Works and HP Open view
• Coordinate with different STC departments (Transmission, Planning, security etc) to solve any data network problems.
• Install, configure and troubleshoot information systems that incorporate Windows Server and configure services including DHCP, WINS, and DNS services.
• Installing, configuring, and maintaining computer hardware, different network products (hubs, switches, access points, modems and DSL routers) and solve network issues.
• Install, configure and test different applications software and operating systems.
