1- Establishing a new classification, characterisation and coding system for Asfour Crystal's 65, 000+ SKUs (including raw materials, consumables, semi-finished and finished products).
- Led the efforts of the project's steering committee consisting of three directors and two managers, in addition to a team of managers and supervisors who led team subgroups.
- Developed and managed the implementation of a systematic approach to build item codes from scratch, based on mutually exclusive classes, and hybrid discriminating characterisation (poly-code/ mono-code); in order to remove code redundancies in the ERP, while ensuring uniqueness.
- Managed the IT efforts to automate the whole process through a web based application.
2- Re-implementation of ERP in Asfour.
- Coordinated the vendor competition between Oracle, SAP (by IBM) and Microsoft (by BI Technologies) to win the ERP account.
- Led the efforts of the project's steering committee, until reaching final offers from vendors and issuing final recommendation to the CEO, including a solution for master data management (MDM).

- Provided support and coaching for Consulting Group team as well as the client's department managers and employees.
- Provided support to the client's IT professionals with the development of an ORACLE® based software application to automate the central workshop's workflow.
Developing Requests for Proposals for consultancy projects, evaluating and discussing consultants' proposals, and providing recommendations for top management regarding consultants selection and contractual negotiations.

Duties/Achievements:
- Follow-up and invoicing of mechanical extra work required by the suppliers.
- Submittal of the final invoice, including: Final quantity survey of mechanical works (12000 tons), resolving all its technical issues in about 2500 pages of full technical documentation and recovering over $100, 000 through its discussion with both the consultant and the client.
- Preparation of isometric piping and mechanical as-built AutoCAD® drawings.
- Developed a customized worker appraisal system.
- Introduced a simple cleaning technique for cans in the filling stage.
- Proposed more than fifteen ideas to improve the performance of the department.
Award winning B.Sc. Project: Applications of Mathematical Modelling – Master Production Scheduling (MPS) of flow shop and flow line systems – Two case studies at FAC Filter Co. and NEEASAE Co. for a large variety of end products using Mixed Integer Linear Programming (MILP).
