Piping Manager in Power Plant 240 MW by MAN Diesel&Turbo, responsabilities for erection Comissioning and start up including test pack and flushing, 200.000 inches welding and Fire fighting system total scope.
• Responsible for supervising and leading a team of Engineers (Quality, Planner, costs) in the management and team of workers (welders, pipefitters, mechanicals, steel fitters), direction and co-ordination of all project resources.
• Responsibility to ensure that contractual requirements in the most cost effective and efficient manner.
• Management the costumer relationships.
• Keep and evidence of the progress and report to the manager.
• Coordinate piping fabrication activities (painting, spools, tests, shops, costs, subcontractors…).
• Interface with other departments: Engineering, Civil, construction.
• Planning and recording the equipment installation (pumps, compressors, heaters, filters, skids, agitators and tanks).
• Management the steel activities (pipe racks) from prefabricate factory to installation on field.
• Scheduling all activities during all project phases.
• Attendance the quality process to ensure the standards specification obligations as ASME, API costumer specification…
Mechanical completion, commissioning and start up.
• Attend the hydro-tests performed on site, test packages mechanical check and advise the technical punches before reinstatement.
• Attend meetings and advise subcontractor to be taken into consideration.
• Monitor work progress in accordance with their submitted work schedule.
• Keep daily activity progress record and long any problems that may exist for immediate action.
• Ensure safety practices on site, report in routine observation reports cases of good or bad practices which might affect the safety on site.
• Inform Group leader about any technical problems that may arise at site to avoid delaying of working schedule.
Option in Construction and industrial Facilities.
Master in occupational risk prevention (specialising in industrial higiene, ergonomics and risk prevention).
Bachelor in Mechanical 2005 Engineer with option in Oil&Gas industries. .
