Setting a long and medium term plan for maintenance work in the campus facilities in cooperation with the General manager of maintenance and divisions in the university.
Submit and apply studies related to the electrical and mechanical services that serve the university buildings.
Preparing lists for billing services from electricity, water and gas to analyze data and work to reduce consumption by applying recommendations with the building control systems administration (BMS).
Holding meetings from the Energy Efficiency Center (SEEC) to discuss the best ways to raise energy efficiency in educational and administrative buildings after the preparation of the base line.
Work with a project program (Mashroat) to raise the efficiency of operation and maintenance contracts based on experience and site needs and collect building information
Work on signing a contract for building rehabilitation with the National Service Energy Company (NESCO) and King Saud University, and then following up on work and submitting completion reports to qualify services in buildings by changing lighting, pumps and air handling units to quality energy saving and approved according to specifications and standards from Quality Standards Metrology And Quality Organization (SASO) to reduce energy consumption in University buildings to 25% as a first step
Development/update of policies procedures for the projects management in the university.
Membership of technical committees for projects and strategies of the university (Traffic committee, Projects Follow-up committee and Head of Rehabilitation of KSU buildings outside Diriya campus committee).
Supervise the financial and technical analysis of projects post price announcements.
General supervision and regular follow-up of the execution of university projects contracts.
Supervise the projects design department.
Transfer experiences and skills to the rest of the team
Manages the electromechanical utilities of the Academic Buildings.
Supervise the maintenance contractor and insure the compliance of the planned preventive maintenance with the manufacturers’ recommendations.
Approving and supervising repair/maintenance work orders.
Renovation of buildings according to needs.
Periodically (every 3 years) evaluate maintenance contractors and initiate new maintenance contracts with the updated needs.
Transfer experiences and skills to the rest of the team
Starting buildings rehabilitation projects from initiation phase to execution.
Studying the needs for the university Buildings outside Diriya Campus with the end user

Responsible for the operation and maintenance of KSU buildings outside Diriya Campus. Also, is assigned to develop all the maintenance contracts for the new universities.
The Maintenance Department is responsible for:
The operation and maintenance of buildings.
Inspection and evaluation of building structures.
Handles the communication with the utilities companies (SCECO, NWC and STC)
Developing buildings’ safety systems.
Technical support for services to all departments.
Responding to requests for minor alterations and renovations to existing spaces.
Overseeing the maintenance and repairs of all elevators on campus
Preparing the design to be approved for the campus buildings and landscape design from the site user to prepared the tenders document and carry out the projects to executing phase (average cost 2 million SR)
During this period, I was able to acquire, exercise and utilize different skills and abilities. I was mainly involved in administration, job interviewing, planning, budgeting, coaching and supervising.
Used Software in design and project management, specifically software packages such as AutoCad.
Kept within financial budgets and deadlines.
Prepared tender applications and presentations.
Negotiated with contractors and other professionals.
Coordinated the work of different contractors.
Made site visits to check on progress and ensured that the project was running within the agreed timescale.

Carried out defect inspections.
