Duties & Responsibilities
The Accounting Manager position is accountable for the financial, and risk management of the company, including the development of a financial strategy, metrics tied to that strategy, and ongoing development and monitoring of control systems designed to preserve company assets and report accurate financial results.
Accounting
Accomplishes accounting objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, and counseling employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation actions; enforcing policies and procedures.
Meets financial accounting objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, initiating corrective actions.
Establishing and overseeing aging table, and ensuring collecting from clients consistently, effectively, and on time, and negotiating bad and doubtful debts.
Oversee the recording and verification of financial transactions in accordance with locally accepted accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
Supervision registers of fixed assets and their depreciation, monitoring accounting bookkeeping and Financial Statements in terms of revenues, expenses, creditors, amounts due, and inventory ....... etc.
Assure that accounting records are prepared and maintained under Egyptian Accounting Standards (EAS), company accounting policies, chart of accounts, and other relevant accounting principles and practices.
Maintains proper internal controls and procedures to ensure accuracy of records and the processing of receivables, payables, and other accounting transactions.
Manage all tax aspects and provide the registers and documents required to end the tax examination.
Oversee cost accounting and improve cost accuracy and reliability of all products.
Analysis of costs and expenses and preparing estimates and future expectations for costs and revenues.
Perform reviews and evaluations to create opportunities to reduce costs.
Maintains financial security by establishing internal controls that help Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential.
Financial Reporting & Analytics
Report the financial results to the Board of Directors and report accurately and on time for all the financial information needed by the senior management.
Oversee the issuance of financial information and reports and statement on time.
Issue periodic reports of cash, customers, suppliers, inventory, Covenant, Debit & Credit accounts, revenues, and expenses.
Conducts analytical reviews including analyzing liquidity, profitability, and debt ratios, highlighting the main differences in the ratios, and reporting them to management with recommendations for improving them.
Monitor and interpret cash flows, forecast future trends, and analyze competitors and market trends.
Break-even analysis indicates the level of sales your company needs to fulfill obligations and sustain operations.
Inventory management systems help keep inventory levels in check, reduce carrying costs and pinpoint obsolete items in need of liquidation.
Personally review and approve all Forms with the Securities and Exchange Commission (if the company is publicly held).
Third Parties
Establishing strong and good relations with banks that compatible with daily banking transactions, collecting checks and overdrafts and ensure getting the best financial services and facilitation.
Participate in the negotiations of key contracts with suppliers and partners.
Cooperate with external auditors to conduct the external audit and provide documents and financial data that facilitate their work and investigate their findings and recommendations.
Coordinate with external entities including financial consultants, tax advisors, and government authorities.
Finalize the tax examination procedures and provide the required financial data and documents.
Represent the company with investors and government authorities.
