• Fully responsible for recreating financial activity.
• Prepare the Income Statement and Balance Sheet & Cash Flow for the business in compliance with standard accounting practices.
• Assist the Finance Manager to comply with reporting requirements as the need arises.
• Monitor usage of funds versus the budget, and analyze variances therein.
• Provide accurate inputs to various department Managers to prepare departmental budgets.
• Help the Finance Manager to facilitate the planning and budgeting process.
• Provide inputs to the Finance Manager to accurately estimate cash flow requirements.
• Provide timely and accurate inputs for Costing reports.
• Identify and evaluate opportunities to optimize cost and increase efficiency.
• Complying with the accounting policies laid down by the Group for recording transactions, preparing Financial Statements and adhering to internal control mechanisms.
• Cross check and verify data/records processed by the Senior Accountants.
• Ensure all accounting transactions are completed on time.
• Constantly interact and guide Accountants in the team.
• Ongoing communication with the Finance Manager and the Accounts team to co-ordinate information flows and comply with reporting requirements.
• Highlight loopholes in the Internal Control System, recommend alternatives to the Corporate, and implement the new procedures recommended by the Corporate.
• Reporting relationship with the Finance Manager.
• Working relationship with the Internal Auditor.
• Making recommendations pertaining to recruitment of the Accounts department staff.
• Manage day to day functioning of the Accounts department.
• Mange VAT report & Transaction day to day till issue report.
