At KFUPM, I had the pleasure to teach
courses and be involved in research
activities, In addition to taking part in a
curriculum benchmark project.
I was assigned to GOSP-4 expansion project, located in Shaybah, where my responsibility was mainly to lead the project closure.
I was given the responsibility of monitoring, supporting, coordinating, and reviewing all the company expenditure requests that had a cost value between 20 million dollar to 100 million dollar, assuring that all the proposals are in line with the company guidelines. Such responsibility involved daily use of the company SAP system, and a lot of upward and downward communication. In addition to an extensive careful attention to details. I was also delighted to work on other several projects in my spare time, like installing an introductory program for new comers that would accelerate their learning curve, and a supply chain robustness improvement project.
ISE is an interdisciplinary major that upholds the knowledge of the fundamentals of Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Database Mgt (SQL), and Finance, all, combined with solid background in data analysis, statistics, mathematical optimization, supply chain, production, inventory and project management.
