Execute and monitor the implementation of voyage instructions and berthing arrangements.
Enhance and supervise implementation of safety regulations and communicate and verify vessel’s needs and provisions required for cargo operations.
Provide instructions and guidance to vessels and agents for loading and discharging, condition of goods, and arrange for all cargo related documents and drafts of documents at various stages of the cargo operation.
Keep accurate accounts, reports and records of all shipping activities and prepare and reconcile daily/weekly shipping data and reports in a proper manner .
Revise contracts and agreements and participate in various stages of negotiation and approvals in addition to ensuring proper compliance.
Respond and deal with internal and external customer enquiries, complaints and feedback.
Perform various other related tasks as directed by the manager.
Demonstrating high skills using IMOS7, and MS such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Versed in INCOTERMS contract such as FOB, FOA, CFR and CIF.
Manage the project safety plan to ensure compliance.
Ensure safety of environments, its customers and employees.
Inspect equipment, environments and buildings to identify areas that can potentially cause health and safety hazards.
Stay abreast of new laws and regulations regarding health and safety, and make the appropriate changes for their employer.
Investigate accidents and injuries.
Recommend improvements to safety policies and programs.
Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
Ensure resource availability and allocation.
Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
Successfully manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
