o Preparing the department's strategic communication plans and ensuring that the social sector entities' strategic communication plans are consistent with the aspirations of the Department of Community Development.
o Develop and implement strategic communication guidelines, policies and procedures at the department level.

Key Responsibilities:
•Assist the Head in developing QAH branding plans, encompassing successful brand-building marketing initiatives
•Work closely with the team in deciding upon the proper branding technique to be applied to achieve the set strategic objectives and ensure that it is correctly implemented.

•Ensure the management of all digital touchpoints for QAH events, festivals and programmes throughout the year
•Liaise with the Marketing and PR Head in the development of digital requirements to promote Abu Dhabi communities by supporting local arts, crafts, and performers to enhance QAH’s image.
•Liaise with stakeholders and compose press releases, write-ups and other required materials for PR in English & Arabic to ensure consistency across messages.
•Ensure the draft of circulations and tracking of related press and video releases, briefing documents and media citations.
•Liaise with the Marketing and PR Head to review and approve all QAH communication releases.
•Liaise with communication specialists and stakeholders to produce PR material for QAH.
•Respond to media and prepare press releases, publicity brochures, hand-outs, promotional videos and multimedia programs to reach the public.
•Arrange for interviews and press releases related to the project. Ensure the provision of professional media training and the effective positioning of QAH’s Senior Leadership.
•Ensure media coverage of QAH activities (through media channels such as TV, Radio, newspaper etc.).
•Monitor newspapers, television news broadcasts and other outlets to track what the media is saying about Qasr Al Hosn and devises strategies to address misinformation.
•Follow the day-to-day operations set by the Marketing & PR Head to ensure continuity of work and the delivery of effective and high-quality outputs.
•Report on a regular basis to Marketing & PR Head on the operational activities of the Unit, its challenges and issues faced, mitigations taken, etc. as required to keep the Line Manager informed and updated on the section’s activities.
