1. Assigning goals to different departments, and issue the related policies to assure that designated goals are met.

Management
1- Ensures supply chain strategy, practices, and initiatives are implemented and aligned with
company business objectives and supports the company growth strategy.
2- Implementing systems for reviewing all operating costs to ensure that they are consistently in
line with focused revenue in conjunction with the Financial Director.
3- Provides oversight and direction for distribution of supplies, logistics, contract negotiations and
inventory management at the domestic and international level
4- Participates with other teams to develop and implement a system wide approach for end-to-end
supply chain integration that lowers the total cost of distribution and inventory management
functions while improving customer services and support.
5- Conducting appraisals for all direct reporters on a bi-annual basis.
Business Development GM
As General Motors acquire Daewoo Motor by the end of 2004, Daewoo Motor decided to locate a new
brand to be assembled in Egypt and to fill its production line; accordingly the company selected me to be
the head of business development department starting from year 2004. My job role was:
1- Heading a project team to survey new Chinese brand to be introduced to local market.
2- Selection of Chery brand, and signing an agreement on 2005.
3- Selection of the proper models and specifying the product profile in coordination with engineering
and sales departments.
4- Negotiation with Chery Company to reach the optimum price of the selected models.
5- Successful launch of two models on August 2006, simultaneously with producing Daewoo
vehicles.
6- Introducing new model each year to suit the requirements of different segment of customers.
7- Initiate and develop good relations with related governmental entities.
Material and Production Control GM
1. Participating with other departments to enhance the productivity of plant that reaches 10
vehicles /hour in 2004, versus 3 vehicles/ hour at the start of production.
2. Develops warehouse operations systems by determining product handling and storage
requirements and equipment utilization.
3. Implementing, enforcing, and evaluating policies and procedures; developing processes for
receiving product.
4. Material planning for an annual production of 25, 000.
5. Coordinate production plan and factory operation in line with sales plan.
6. Supervise the distribution of vehicles to company’s dealers and wholesalers.
Material Control Manager
1. Participated in the successful completion of three waste water projects (Rehabilitation of Zenien
waste water treatment plant, and construction of both Abu Rawash and Sokhna waste water
treatment plants.).
2. Mobilize all the project equipment’s, buildings, Caravans, trucks to the new project location.
3. Managing and supervising the performance of 80 employees.
4. Use an ERP system (AS 400) to maintain the stock level and the reorder level.
5. Supervise all the warehousing operation (6 warehouses), including receiving, and issuing the
material to the requested department or designated work area. The warehouses are varied from
civil material, Mechanical, electrical, and equipment spare parts warehouse.
6. Supervise all the local purchasing to satisfy the requirements of the different divisions, and
maintaining the timely finish of the project
7. Deliver 5 years spare parts to the government (holding company for drinking water and
sanitation.
8. Issuing the claims and follow up the shipping of replacement parts from the foreign supplier in
United States.
Material control Specialist
1. Purchasing of requested material at the right quantity, with the right quality, and at the proper
time.
2. Inventory management that includes inventory turnover, and setting of reorder level of more
than 60, 000 line items.
3. Costing function, by relating every material purchased and issued from the warehouse to its cost
center.
4. Issuing monthly and yearly reports by the costs incurred to each department, and division of the organization.
5. Working on ERP system (AS 400) to track all the receiving and issuing operation, and maintain
the stock levels of the different goods.
6. Responsible for civil warehouse (receiving steel material, timber, and Cement), mechanical
Warehouse, and Equipment spare parts.
