Job Summary: To have the overall leadership in developing effective ERM frameworks and Credit Rating project across all group companies in different countries of operations in addition to developing a culture of managed risk taking and embedding risk culture in organization.
The main responsibilities would include, but not limited to, the following:
˗ Develop the group’s risk appetite framework with clear definition of key risk indicators “KRIs”.
˗ Prepare and present risk reports to Board Risk Committee members on quarterly basis.
˗ Monitor the group’s risk profile, capital management, challenge risk owners on identifications, mitigation plans and introduce strategic risk initiatives.
˗ Lead the credit rating projects between the rating agencies and group companies.
˗ Support the management, executives and business units in setting effective controls/mitigation plans.
˗ Ensure compliance to all rules and regulations with regards to risk management.
˗ Provide trainings and support to gig’s subsidiaries ERM representatives.
Qualifications: According to the protocol of the external examiner Kent University in association with Institute of Actuaries (LONDON). ⮚ Mathematical: Actuarial Science requires courses in Algebra, Calculus, Linear Algebra, Probability & Statistics. ⮚ Additionally: We have had an introduction to each of the four 300 series subjects by ACTUARIES from the Egyptian Insurance market. Investment and Asset Management, Life Insurance, General Insurance and Reinsurance, Pensions and Other Benefits. ⮚ Grades: Overall grade is good. ⮚ Exemptions awarded from university of Kent: - CT1: Financial Mathematics - CT4: Models - CT2: Finance and Financial Reporting - CT5: Contingencies - CT3: Mathematical Statistic
