1.Job: Currently Portfolio Manager (Approval Unit) Handling SME’s, Corporate, & backup for Contracting Portfolio
2. Objective: Ensuring proactive involvement with business units with respect to credit due diligence process covering communication, resolving issues with maintaining reasonable turnaround time.
3. Attend quarterly meeting along with Unit Head with Business Departments Heads to discuss credit related issues e.g. past due, expired facilities, quality of CP's & account Risk Ratings.
4. Visiting at least two customers per month in co-ordination with Business Departments.
5. Attend monthly meeting with Head CRM along with the Units Head for reviewing the Department's performance, and future plan on increasing the efficiency and effectiveness.
6. Process: Credit Due diligence analysis (CDD) & presentation to approval authorities must identify all risks in credit with appropriate mitigates. All CDD must contain express comments, recommendations or reservations covering all aspects for counter parties. CDD should cover, Accurate Risk Grading, Confirm accuracy of financial Spreads, Review of Financials with Notes, Security coverage, Business/Industry Risk, Management /succession, Wallet Size, Risk Reward, Economic/Political Risk associated with credit.
7. Ensuring that all credit proposals along with the Department's due diligence analysis comments & recommendations are presented to the approval authorities on the standard formats. The CPs comply with the policies guidelines and processes and exceptions, if any are Clearly identified to approval authorities. Further, CPs should be got approved from the relevant authority as outlined in the CPM within agreed SLA time frame.
8. Proper monitoring of accounts for warning signs in credit through review of Documentation Exceptions, past due liabilities, expired limits.
9. Allocate credit limits and risk categories through Reviewing, & Recommending, facility structure & customer exposure.
