documents supplied by the client or design disciplines

Key Responsibilities:

Responsibilities:
• Review the Mechanical drawings, reports, specifications submitted by the Design Consultants at each stage of the Design to ensure completeness, correctness, compliance with the scope of work, and agreements requirements.
• Carry out a constructability review during the design/construction stages.
• Review on time the Design Consultant/Contractor(s) submittals and forward comments to the Engineering Manager.
• Ensure the Design Consultant/Contractor(s) incorporate the comments raised from previous stages.
• Attend Technical meetings with the Design Consultant and other Sub-Consultants, Contractor, and Company Team.
• Review Contractor/Consultant's proposed design organizations and report to the Engineering Manager on his findings.
• Coordinate with PROJECT Document Controller and PMC QA/QC Eng. to ensure that all documents related to his discipline are appropriately controlled.
• Review the alternatives to the Design concept submitted by the Design Consultant and Contractors, prepare and submit a report including recommendations to the Engineering Manager highlighting, advantages and disadvantages of each alternative.
• Review the materials proposed by the Design Consultant/Contractor(s) and propose an alternative to improve the quality, Ensure maintenance, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
• Review the change requests/ variations submitted by the Contractors.
• Review Tender Documents to ensure completeness before issuing to Bidders.
• Participate in the pre-qualification of construction Contractors.
• Review and reply to Bidders clarifications, participate in issuing Bulletins and attend Technical Meetings with Bidders during Tender stage.
• Adhere to Quality, Environmental, Safety, and Occupational Health Policies, Manuals, and Procedures in place within the company, and ensure continued compliance with these requirements all the time.

➢ Heat Load Calculation & Equipment selection including FCU, AHU,
FAHU, Chillers, Heat Exchangers, pumps…….
➢ Technical calculations including pump head, grills, duct sizing, chilled
water sizing, GPM calculations, using some software like HAP,
Mcquay, ...Shop Drawings & material Submittals.
