Job description:
The Project Engineer plans, executes, monitors and controls all the activities of the contractors at site to ensure all the works are in accordance with plans/details, specifications and within the provisions of the Contract, in order to be finished on-time with high quality and specified cost.
Duties and Responsibilities:
8. Conduct inspection of all the works and activities of the General Contractor and Sub-Contractors at site.
9. Ensure all the activities and works are in accordance with the approved construction drawings, plans and details and within the provision of the Technical Specifications and Contracts.
10. Prepare/Review shop drawings and as built drawings for submittals and solve technical issues
11. Monitors and analyzes the actual progress of the project a daily basis.
12. Conducts filed and witness laboratory testing of materials, i.e. FDT, trial mixes of concrete, tests of concrete, steel bars and aggregates, etc., to ensure that the materials are in accordance with the plans/drawings and conforming to the provisions of the Technical Specifications.
13. Submits periodic reports indicating the actual progress of works and problems that will be encountered with corresponding recommendations for decision/s of the Management.
14. Checks and verifies Accomplishment Report, billings, etc. of Contractors against the actual work done.
15. Organize, control and take off reinforced steel quantities.

1. Prepares design sheets/computations, drafting of preliminary construction drawings, evaporation ponds, piping sizing, water treatment processes, using Auto CAD, budgetary cost estimate.
2. Conducts cost and preliminary quantity estimates for various works, as well as making comparison sheets between the BOQ quantities and the actual for tendering purposes.
3. Prepares and submits correspondence, inquiries and request for information and quotations, technical submittals, cost proposals, estimates, arrange all projects documents drawings, letters attached with it for bidding.
