Evaluation of credit applications, with reference to risk factors: Financial analysis, financial structuring, Credit
evaluation and assessment, Collateral.
Ensure all applicable documentation for credit applications are received from sales.
Responsible to ensure that documents for entry are completed correctly with the required.
Monthly/quarterly/annual revision of account exposure.
Responsible for preparing reports and standard statements / Ensures that regular.
Responsible for ensuring that contracts are complete and legally correct (only if no dedicated).
Responsible for ensuring that information between source documents and the system are matching
Responsible to ensure that costs are recovered in accordance with the prescribed guidelines.
Achieving credit control assessment targets / audit.
Completion of all applicable documentation for overdraft facilities: existing customers.
Aftercare for all collections.
Conduct the initial review of credit documentation (financing agreements and guarantees) to ensure adherence to defined policies, procedures, guidelines, formats and in accordance with approved terms and conditions.
Carry out the review and verification to ensure timely availability of the related legal documentation in line with the established credit policies while highlighting any non-conformances to the superior for remediation.
Carry out timely processing of credit applications including entering customer information and credit limits into the system as per defined guidelines and quality standards while conducting the effective disbursement of funds to clients subject to credit approval and terms.
Carry out the timely and effective maintenance of all credit files and security documentation with defined controlled access, as per internal and regulatory guidelines and standards.
Keep track of the borrowers’ compliance with credit terms while promptly highlighting any major deviations to superior for corrective action.
Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices taking into account ‘international leading practice’, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement.
Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
Assist in the preparation of timely and accurate departmental statements and reports to meet CBQ and department requirements, policies and standards.
Ensure all relevant quality, health, safety and environmental procedures, instructions and controls are adhered to so that the safety of employees, quality of products/services and environmental compliance can be guaranteed.

The job role forms a key pat of the Retail Consumer Processing Unit forming a part of Credit & Risk provides back-end support to the whole commercial bank branches and Direct Sales. Key accountabilities include processing of all Retail loans requests including Auto Loans, Personal Loans and lifeline.

 

TASKS/RESPONSIBILITIES

 

SERVICE

Verification and validation of genuineness of the credit documents and customer data by calling Customers and validating the same through Ultimus system.  Customer contact point verifications including home country verifications on applicable cases.Check and reply Central Bank Blacklist reports received from branches.Check and reply Central Bank Risk Bureau (CBRB) reports received from branches and Direct Sales Dept.Verification of customer employment status with Employer through telephone/fax/email.Check for the Ultimus incident numbers, the involved Credit Managers and Analysts and thereafter, distribute the cases to the credit area. After completed from Credit, hand over to the respective Admin staff for validation and thereafter to Operations for processing.Check if applications are complete with all required documents. Insert the documents in respective product file, filter the security documents and in a separate plastic folder.Receive and distribute all files of PIL, Motari & Lifeline applications from branches and Direct Sales to the respective staff in Operations.Receive and distribute all Motari 2nd Set and other general correspondence to Operations.Manage and control the file movement flow within the Department.Maintain records related to Admin functions such as; inward/outward mail statements, acknowledgements and other important correspondence.Preparation of mail statements for all outward mail sent to Branches through HO Mail Room.Prepare/update excel sheet of daily report related to Admin activities (MIS).Return PIL, Motari & Lifeline applications to branches and Direct Sales if incomplete documentation and for any other reasons mentioned by the Credit area.Send emails to branches if rectification of the applications is required.Sort out Ultimus and Manual PIL and Motari applications and register them in respective registers.Execute any special tasks assigned by management from time to time.Act as a back up during the absence of other staff and as and when necessary.

 

RISK

Manage the work flow on a day-to-day basis without compromising on the risk and service.Ensure that the Scanned/Indexed Mandate Files, securities  received is complete file and there is no left over Documents.Ensure that Filing is done with correct date/ Branch name / ID and account numbers and no error is reported.Ensure that at the end-of-the Day left over Documents for scanning / indexing are kept over night in safe under lock/key.

Maintain professionalism and effective communication with colleagues within the Unit and all other Departments Adhere to your individual duties and responsibilities at all times.Actively participate in the onboarding of new staff, supporting them during their training period and provding advice and guidance in during their training period including sessions in order for them to familiarize themselves with the job.

 

BUSINESS EFFICIENCY

Provide improvement suggestion to Section Head / Manager to increase operational quality and efficiency in our work resulting in best customer services.
