Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible and accountable for ensuring that all assigned personnel are coordinating their QA/QC activities with other project participants, and that the requirements of the contract are being satisfied
Supervises working of quality service providers.
Suggest ways to fix unsafe structures or recommend changes in the layout of the plant and draw up plans for the regular maintenance of machinery.
Performs QA/QC pre-inspection to ensure that all installed materials are within the standard in conformance to applicable drawings & specifications
Assign to check drawing, molds and preparation of wall panels, beams and slab prior to casting.
To check concrete quality before casting and concrete strength before stripping of element and do final checking prior to delivery at construction site.
Monitor soil testing laboratory activities and maintain the records as per client requirements.
Obtain the calibration certificates for the instruments in using for the tests in on-site & off-site and updated by keeping the calibration log book.
Material receiving inspections as per requirements with quality aspect and check the MTC.
Co-ordinate construction activities as per Procedure & Specification
Inspection for the site activities such as formwork, rebar & grouting etc., periodically and prior to start the work complying with specification & as per latest revision drawings.
Prepare inspection reports and submittal for the review or approval from the client.
Maintain all relative site inspections records and hand over to client.
Responsible for all inspections at site inclusive of witnessing, sentencing, recording and reporting the results and resolving any problems arising
Documentation of work execution as per standard specifications based on approved construction drawing
Inspection and measurement of construction activities and materials
Assure all technical documents relative to site quality control are at current status
Prepare detailed records and reports at all inspections conducted at the site and maintain the quality control documentation
Reporting for the progress to the owner for billing purposes.
