I am Deputy Head of Operation at Captrain France/SNCF (3rd largest rail freight operator with a turnover of €175 million) with solid experience in managing railway production and leading teams.
My role consists of piloting the implementation of the transport plan, around 1, 500 trains per month, in collaboration with the various regional departments, while ensuring the effectiveness of the organization implemented.
I manage the National Production Center within the Operations Directorate and as leader, I am responsible for the command post made up of an operational manager and his teams posted in 3x8 and 2x8, I am in charge the fleet management manager and his team of engine managers. Within our team we also find 3 Resource Managers who respond in particular to the needs for operators and the routing of locomotives.
My main objective is to ensure optimal production for customers while respecting deadlines and quality, while guaranteeing a level of safety in compliance with standards and cost control.
I play a strategic role in crisis management, communication and coordination of regional directorates, while actively participating in defining the routing needs of the material directorate.
I am the preferred contact for the SNCF RESEAU traffic management, in the context of operational readjustments of the transport plan, in the event of security events, social movements, force majeure, etc.
I am also a leader involved in human resources management by ensuring the recruitment, training, maintenance of skills and development of my teams, promoting abilities to exercise higher or transversal functions within the company. while ensuring the social climate and compliance with labor regulations.
I am greatly involved in the continuous improvement of quality, safety and operational excellence by defining appropriate action plans. My commitment to quality, safety, hygiene and the environment is constant, and I ensure compliance with current regulations.
