- Informing the business lines about the incoming equipment and arrival time.
- Informing the port security about trucks/drivers that are arriving in Filyos Shore Base.
- Handling the process of SLB/3rd parties personnel coming in the port.
- Checking the received equipment against the Delivery Note (DN), Packing List (PL) or
Commercial Invoice (CI) .
- Unloading the deliveries and place into the related areas. Taking some photos from the
deliveries and sharing these with the related business line person.
- Signin the delivery note documents and informing mail chain and the logistics.
- Performing GR (good receipt) for receiving deliveries on SAP/FIORI.
- Checking daily complete import operation mails.
- Performing GI (good issue) for m&s parts.
- Updating daily inventory files.
- For items to be sent out, create a DN (delivery notes) after receiving driver/truck details and
share for the port entrance for sent out equipment/samples
- Performing weekly / monthly inventories for Euro Supply chain.
The working place of the position was at Camp Arifjan and the APS-5 project in the state of Kuwait.
•Issuing BII (Basic Issue Items) from CMT (Container Management Team) to the other units.
•Assist in the inventory and turn-in of BII (Basic Issue Items) received from major end items arriving from US Army abroad bases.
•Assisted in the issue of BII to vehicles including both wheel and track vehicles.
•Perform daily, monthly and yearly service inventory on BII.
•Inventory, verify and fill BII shortages as required by Technical Manual (TM)
•Ensure all BII is present and accounted for prior to equipment being issued.
•Opening and closing job orders.
•Responsible for tracking Inventory levels.
•Responsible to maintain Inventory and other stock records
•Responsible to maintain daily, weekly and monthly reports as requires by department.
•Ensures tasks are executed in order to meet mission requirements.
•Pick up goods from warehouses and places in locations.
•Uses handheld tracking scanners to make sure the right items are in the right place, and update inventory records.
•Following state, federal and department safety standards.
- Ensuring the management and administration of blue-collar personnel in Shipment, Raw
Material-Semi-Product and Packaging warehouses. A total of 45 blue-collar employees.
- Ensuring that the relevant areas within the scope of responsibility are used in accordance
with Occupational Health and Safety and checking the applicability at periodic times.
Plus, I was a member of OHS committee.
- Working with the Human Resources and Industrial Performance teams to determine the
personnel needs in the warehouses on time and report them to the relevant units..- Ensuring reconciliation with the accounting department for all entry and exit operations
in period closings.
- Monitoring the operational KPI’s of the teams periodically and reporting the
performance indicators to the management.
- Ensuring and reporting the applicability of all logistics improvements requested by
customers or related operations. (customers: VW, Audi AG, Toyota and other Standard
Profile Group plants)
- Maintenance and repair of the malfunctions in the fixtures or rental machines in the
warehouses.
- Opening and tracking purchase orders for all logistics warehouse needs that can be
procured through purchasing department.
- Taking and reporting the actions opened through the Intranet QDMS Quality System.
Creation and updating of all logistics instructions on the Intranet QDMS Quality
System.
- Organizing and reporting monthly periodic and year-end counts in warehouses.
- Taking measures for reoccurrence by investigating the causes of logistics
inconveniences that may occur in shipments, together with the transporters and the
shipping team.
- Timely ordering to the relevant suppliers of the spare part labels used by the production
in the production of spare parts. Stocking and tracking of labels.
- Transferring the packaging orders used by the Toyota customer in the orders of the
S.Africa, Russia and UK factories to the relevant suppliers. Ensuring timely supplies.
- If there are actions to be taken in the logistics warehouses of customer error
notifications, ensuring that these actions are taken together with the relevant teams.
- Making transportation plans with all transporters, playing an active role in solving
problems by establishing the necessary communication in case of any nonconformity.
- Ensuring complete warehouse installation and active commissioning in the operating
system.
