• Implementation of Qatar QHSE Standard, compliance and regulatory procedure on project site.
• Comes up with proposals for corrective or preventive measures, and investigates, analyzes and reviews accidents or near misses within the organization.
• Keep records of all HSE Trainings
• To ensure regular emergency response is effective and that managers and employees are prepared at all times, designs and conducts drills, both announced and unannounced.
• Preparing company and projects HSE REPORT for client and contractors
• Develop and ensure full compliance to the Quality, Health, Safety and Environment Management Philosophy, Objectives and Policy within the company
• Experience in risk assessments, QMS, HSE Audits/Meetings/Inspections, HSE Training, HSE Performance Reporting, First-Aid, and Accident Investigation
• To monitor the effectiveness of all safety issues on site and ensure all areas are adequately safe for work
• Ensure Quality control goals are met and achieved
• Preparing the safety weekly statistical report
• Preparing the Monthly statistical report
• Monitor company HSE performance(incident rate, lost time, lost work)
• Serve as company representative between Regulatory Agencies and external auditing parties
• Responsible for quality control leadership, education, and communication with each entity
• Develop and implement safe systems of work / permit to work system
• Good working knowledge of Integrated Management System ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 18001.
• Prepares Emergency Action plan and observe emergency mock drills
• Study the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) supply by vendor and prepare a training and education schedule for employee’s safety requirement
• Priorities, organize and plan operational activities independently
• Coordinates HSE team and ensures that work safety permits are enforced
• Investigate accidents, and witness inspections and make recommendation to mitigate against future occurrence
• Effectively manages problem prevention strategies to limit reactionary practices
• Generate periodic reports on the safety compliance as well as on actions taken
• Make sure that all employees are properly informed about the working, environmental and safety policies of the organization
• Ensures that the HSE performance of all disciplines and subcontractors is in accordance with contractual HSE commitments
• Checks the preparation of work activities on site with the aim of making the area safe and practical for the Service with limited impact on other activities
• Ensures that all recommendations expressed in the Permit to Work are implemented.
• Controls the development of the work until its completion and ensures that the area is left in an acceptable condition.
• Assists in monitoring safety equipment test, inspection and maintenance level to ensure reliability
• Provides assistance in the areas of waste segregation, quantification, labelling, containment and recording
• Assists in the conduct of site specific safety training to improve safety awareness
• Participates in the accidents, incidents and
abnormalities investigations.
Higher National Diploma (HND) in Marketing
