Prepare & Issue planning package as per contractual terms & conditions and receiving approval from the Client within the stipulated period of the contract.
Generating, Track and update of P6 schedule Level 1, 2, 3, 4.
Ensure that schedule is based on project execution strategy and schedule milestones are achievable.
Develop S Curve and Manpower histogram and check if these are achievable.
Ensure that required resources and skill sets are available to meet the schedule and resources are leveled and activities are rescheduled if the required skill set is not available.
Ensure that schedule is updated and maintained valid throughout the duration of the project and that PM and team is aware of forward load and manpower availability.
Document schedule changes and keep time-phased copies of the schedule of the work as historical records
as the project progresses.
Resource Planning and Forecasting of projects & activities.
Calculate & Manage Engineering productivity.
Project Cost Control Budget Establishment and reporting.
Report Earned value in terms of earned man-hours and Value of Work done (VOWD).
Compare & analyze earned value with actual and planned values and report in the form of CPI and SPI.
Ensure to maintain Master Deliverable Register throughout the project.
Participate in rising of Change request / Change Order.
Analyze schedule variance & plan remedy if there any negative variance.
Prepare progress invoice & Prepare weekly / monthly project reports.
Prepare Project Control Statements & monthly forward load of resources.
With over 8 years of experience in onshore oil & gas operations, I am a Planning Engineer at JGC Gulf International Co. Ltd., a leading engineering and construction company in the Middle East. I hold a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute and a Lean Six Sigma Black, Yellow & Green Belt certification from the IMC Institute. In my current role, I manage the overall integrated schedule covering all projects under the Field Operation Division, ensuring that the schedule milestones are achievable and aligned with the project execution strategy. I also train local nationals through the annual Graduate Development Program, develop and monitor progress measurement systems, and prepare progress dashboards and reports. I have worked with various clients and projects across Pakistan, Iraq, Qatar, UAE, and Saudi Arabia, including Aramco, SABIC, and Petrokemya. I have demonstrated my skills in project planning, project control, project management, and engineering management, as well as my ability to work in diverse and multi-cultural environments. My goal is to contribute to the success of the projects and the company, and to enhance my knowledge and skills in the oil & gas industry.
