Scope • The additional 200 MMSCFD gas at Umm Shaif Super Complex (USSC) will be made available by
increasing the total off take level of US Khuff to 1600 MMSCFD by mid-2016 and up to 2025 (against
currently planned off take level of 1400 MMSCFD annual average from mid-2013 to mid-2028).
• This will be achieved by two new Khuff wells at WHT US216 (IGD-E project).
• A new Khuff well (7th IGD well) on WHT US218 was part of 1000 MMSCFD (or 1 BSCFD) gas supply to
Onshore (IGD project). However, it will be implemented as part of the PROJECT, along with the two new
Khuff wells at WHT US216, due to the cooling requirement of the gas from all the new Khuff wells
• The additional gases from WHT’s US216 and US218 shall be processed in the existing dehydration
platforms at USSC along with other produced gases and shall be sent to Das Island through the two

Responsible for completing moderately complex piping designs and upgrading of the old plant with 30%: 70% ratio
• Originated functional designs by using information derived from equipment drawings, general design criteria, codes and
standards and data supplied by engineers and prepared drawings reflecting those designs.
• Additional responsibilities associated with one or more of the following disciplines: mechanical, civil/structural, mapping, or
electrical.
• Reviewed vendor drawings, standard details, codes and standards, field data and information provided by project personnel for
developing drawings which showed details of equipment, layouts and features to be used for fabrication of construction.
• Revised drawings as needed to correct details and reflect actual versus planned project feature locations and dimensions.
• Reviewed drawings prepared by drafters for accuracy, completeness and compatibility of designs between disciplines.
• Performed calculations, including material quantity take-offs, for design, layout and detailing of project features.
• Utilized existing and refurbishing existing equipment, working on existing pipe gantries and modified to suit new pipe lines and

linear low density polyethylene. KEMYA was one of Saudi Arabia’s initial polyethylene producers
Key Responsibilities:
• Attended DCR (Design change request) related to modifications in existing plant and updated drawings and documents as a part
of design office activities
• Designed in air cooling piping, column/tower piping, furnace piping, pipe rack, vessel piping, compressor piping, heater piping,
various pump piping, export piping, jacketed piping and underground piping.
• Conceptualized pipe routing for design estimation works using advanced software design.
• Optimized plant design, pipe router.
• Prepared basic pipe routing based on plot plan, P&ID and information drawings in accordance with Exxon mobile piping standard
and ASME, ANSI, API codes.
• Carried out 3d cad modelling of equipment, structures and piping using PDMS software.
• Performed extraction and annotation of general arrangement (GA) and Isometric drawings from the 3d model.
• Prepared loading data and information drawing for pipe rack and sleeper, nozzle orientation, special and standard pipe support
drawing using micro station SE, J and Autocad.
• Prepared material take-off of all piping materials needed for estimation as per P&ID/UHD and isometric drawings,
• Prepared isometric drawings for steam tracing line, incorporated revision of all piping design as per revised P&ID, GA, isometric,
etc.
• Carried out checking of piping arrangement drawings as per project specifications, P&ID/UHD equipment vendor data and piping
material specifications, Drafting and conversion of P&ID using Intergraph’s intelligent P&ID, Field verification as built-mark-up
drawings before initiating the documents to update for the following projects :
• Successfully performed October 2002 Turnaround project, Jun 2004 Turnaround project & Feb 2006 Turnaround Projects.
Assessed the requirements of project into tasks and worked with project engineer to determine scope of work, budget and staffing.
• Prepared engineering studies and schematic design for new systems and analyzed operation of existing systems.
• Verified and reviewed ‘as built’ drawings and documents submitted by contractors, as per site conditions.
• Conducted site survey for ESR (Engineering Service Request) and developed all types on mechanical drawings.
• Responsible for producing PFD’s, P & ID’s, Plot Plans and Piping Arrangements for various facilities. ‘
• Checked designs drawing produced by in-house design staff and contractors to the relevant standards.
• Communicated and interfaced with construction supervision and local contractors to solve design problems in the field.
• Produced MTO’s, tie-in lists, line list and piping details i.e. standard drawing for instrument connection as per technical standards

• Introduced Solid Edge v20 (3D cad package) for both the 3d piping and design layout, including the structural design.
