Planner: Electrical & Instrumentation

Experienced in Planning, scheduling and execution processes in Project and Operation environment. ▪ Create WBS and develop schedule baseline. ▪ Monitor and control Planning and scheduling activities until completion. ▪ Solve complex problems, support the team to deliver desired results. ▪ Ability to give clear direction to teams working on projects or operational activity. ▪ Responsible for maintaining and supporting the plant work order and preventative maintenance systems using SAP PM Module. ▪ Responsible for reviewing prioritized work orders and evaluating them for planning and/or scheduling process application. ▪ Develop baseline schedule for Project requirements and Weekly schedule for the plant equipment. ▪ Schedule contractors to complete work orders as needed and review contractor safety guidelines. ▪ Meet with the maintenance supervisor and department managers to ensure necessary work is appropriately prioritized and scheduled. ▪ Establish and track costs for each piece of equipment and each completed work order. ▪ Responsible for providing leadership to the teams to perform their work in a safe and incident free manner, meeting all Process, Safety, Management, and Environmental requirements. ▪ Develop maintenance job plans, and schedules. ▪ Ensure maintenance efforts are focused on quality repairs and improved plant reliability. ▪ Plan, schedule, and coordinate work via standardized maintenance work processes. ▪ Integrate reliability strategies into maintenance work processes and new projects. ▪ Proactively work with peers to improve maintenance efforts for the entire site. ▪ Identify and implement methods to improve productivity and effectiveness of resources and material. ▪ Effectively coordinate/facilitate group meetings to meet goals and objectives. ▪ In addition to E&I, I also undertake Analyzer, Mechanical, Fire & Gas discipline planning as well as Facility Maintenance.

MILESTONES AS INSTRUMENTATION & CONTROL SUPERVISOR BOROUGE 3 ▪ Safe and timely start of PO and LDPE material handling plant. Member of the team Achieved 45 Million safe manhour in B3 Project. ▪ Responsible for Startup, commissioning and pre-commissioning activities of Instrumentation and control system in Material handling Unit in Borouge 3 mega project. ▪ Experienced in process Instrumentation and Control System documentation. Review, comment and resolve problems in Inspection and Test plans, Installation operational Manual (IOM), Commissioning Procedures and vendor training material. ▪ Validate Honeywell DCS according to company and international standards during Factory Acceptance Test (FAT), Site Installation Test (SIT) and Site Acceptance Test (SAT). ▪ Validate SIT and SAT of vendor packages including Siemens S7 PLC. ▪ Validate loop checking, Interlock testing and DCS hardware and redundancy test. ▪ Create standard procedures and checklist for preventive maintenance and troubleshooting guide. ▪ Review and correct Preventive Maintenance plans, functional location data and spare parts information in SAP. ▪ Training and development of new employees to take future challenges. ▪ Have a clear understanding of the project schedule the priorities set by the Commissioning team and expedite the completions associated with these priorities. ▪ Maintain clear and concise action lists of outstanding work scopes check sheet and punch list and coordinate their completion with various work parties’ construction and commissioning. ▪ Witness SAT pre commissioning activities for equipment ▪ Provide detailed reports outlining the status of outstanding works and completion progress. ▪ Monitor and ensure the completions database is updated and showing the status of outstanding works. ▪ Review and enter punch list items into the completions database and upon their completion enter the punch list closure form. ▪ Provide direct supervision to skilled and/or semi-skilled non-exempt staff.

KEY DUTIES AS INSTRUMENTATION & CONTROL TECHNICIAN AT BOROUGE ▪ Experienced in Working on major process areas such as Gas phase reactor, extruder, conveying system and Material handling area. ▪ Well versed with calibration, maintenance, repair, and problem solving during normal operation, shutdown and startup phase. ▪ Responsible for the assembly, installation, removal and replacement, disassembly, test functionality and operability, maintenance and repair of instrumentation systems and their associated system components. ▪ Conduct instrumentation evaluation and troubleshooting for electrical, pneumatic, electronic as well as programmable logic control (PLC) systems. ▪ Ensure conformance with environmental and safety requirements commensurate with executing required instrument maintenance or replacement activities. ▪ Assist planning plus operations staff to identify skills and resource needed to complete planning and reactive work activities. ▪ Comply with every approved operation and maintenance procedures. ▪ Perform with maintenance planners as schedule workload. ▪ Pressure measurement and control systems - Range check a pressure gauge, change settings on a pressure switch, recalibrate a SMART pressure transmitter and record Instrument Test Records (ITR’s). ▪ Level measurement and control systems - Reconfigure, calibrate and function check a variety of level transmitter and a SMART type of level transmitter and record ITRs. ▪ Temperature measurement and control systems - Commission a temperature detector (RTD or thermocouple) and a SMART temperature transmitter including a range change, recalibration, and full loop check from heat source to transmitter output, record ITRs. ▪ Flow measurement and control systems - Recommission a differential pressure flow transmitter into a fully operational condition, and calibration check the transmitter and record ITRs. ▪ Maintain, calibrate, and commission a process control valve - Remove a process control valve positioner and actuator, replace valve stem gland packing, reassemble, and body pressure test. Set up and stroke test to operate open/closed on a 4-20 mA control signal, complete full loop calibration and record ITRs.

Joined as a Trainee Technician. After few grade change reached to Sr. Technician position.

Experienced in Commissioning and startup of Polypropylene plant.

Expertise in Maintenance of instruments and control system.

Ability to diagnose and rectify hardware problems in Distributed Control System DCS and Safety Instrumented systems SIS or ESD.

Expertise in Performing Maintenance, calibration, fault finding and repair in SMART Field Instruments related to pressure, flow, temperature and level and Fisher Control valves, positioners and on-off valves.

Analyze the failure to prevent re-occurrences. Suggest and implement improvement through management of change procedures.

Estimate and assist in Planning of Shutdown job, materials, manpower and related resources.
