To manage operation and transport and to fulfill the project requirement.

• To carry out day to day allocation/management of manpower and equipment in Jeddah terminal.
• To plan and manage the safe transportation/distribution of heavy lift (light/ heavy haulage) and
over size cargo in line with company, s standard procedures.
• To make sure that all vehicles and equipments are in good working condition, well maintained
and licensed.
• To coordinate with workshop for the timely repairs of equipments, preventive maintenance,
testing before operating and vehicle inspection prior to sending for MVPI.
• To ensure that all bulky and heavy object are transported in the trunk of safely secured with
ropes/ lashing & chaining/binders.
• To make sure the timely and accurate reporting of equipment, tools and crews on site.
• To ensure that the companys procedures are compiled with, and take necessary actions with
operation head on non compliance by employees.
• To assist the management in fleet mobilization / demobilization.
• Responsible for Sea freight operation at Jeddah Islamic Port (storing and to pullout the heavy
cargo, containers after custom clearance using platform, low bed and flat bed trailers)
• Journey management (Routing, tracking of delivery vehicles through IVMS after road survey
keeping in view the truck ban timings)
• To conduct daily tool box meeting with drivers, operators and riggers for road transport safety,
equipments safe operating and safety at site.
• To maintain accident investigation procedure and followup on repairs after getting the insurance
claim.
• To update daily time sheet for drivers and operators.
• Newly hired drivers orientation and to assist in licensing process.

Responsibilities and Key Personal Skills:
• To look into fleet management in line with company, s
policies and kingdom standard for
smooth operation.
• Responsible in maintaining complete database &
documentation for drivers and readymix equipments
including driver training, licensing and equipments
third party certification.
• To educate the drivers about road transport safety and site safety through daily tool
box meetings and defensive driving courses.
• To prepare a system (DLS) for drivers/operators performance through rewards and fines
with the objective to make the work place safe for employees and to protect the
company assets.
• Ensure the driver/operators daily/ weekly vehicle inspection & to coordinate with
workshop to minimize the ratio of breakdowns.
• To maintain accident investigation procedure and followup on repairs after getting the
insurance claim.

To provide vehicle for operation in good condition & to avoid breakdowns.

Fleet management, Contractors vehicles inspection, contractors and drivers training, accident investigation and reporting, product spill prevention, fire fighting. Journey management, Driver league system to boost up the driver performance and to prevent accidents.
