➢ Ensuring fulfillment goals are met and that rigging and lifting materials inventories and recordings are timely, accurate, and undamaged.
➢ Design and develop lifting plan for rigging and lifting operation if required
➢ Follow up on rigging and lifting accessories and equipment signed out and assess compliance to materials safe working procedures
➢ Involve in shut-down planning meetings
➢ Make pre lifting orientation and safety precautionary measured to avoid unnecessary misunderstanding among the rigging crews.
➢ Ensure team members are working in accordance with company HSE standard and procedure.
➢ Attend shut-down progress meeting and handover
➢ Developing methods to promote safety awareness and best practices in rigging and lifting throughout the organization in line with present statutory requirements and acceptable international practices.
➢ Secure Work Permit as per NLNG Permit to Work System
➢ Assessing and closing out gaps identified during shutdown period
➢ Participates in project progress meeting and provides input related to the status of rigging and lifting work
➢ Record all riggers progress and update in their individual portfolios and create matrix to monitoring their progress.
Make sure that all rigging accessories that need to be issued to respective teams are
thoroughly examined. The quarantine of all defective ones returned after usage is done
properly. Also, keep my coordinator's communication channel updated on the progress of
replacing lifting appliances.
Supervise complex/complicated lifting operation.

My contribution to project planning was to create a list of lifting accessories that
could be used during shutdown project. I proactively presented this data to my
employer. As a result of this, procurement wastage of approximately $35, 000 was
reduced as mitigations were put in place for accessory downtime.
