 Responsible for planning, monitoring the complete procurement or purchasing / contracting of Electrical and Mechanical Package/ Products per the norms & guidelines of the Company.
 The role covers sourcing, negotiation of contracts and strategic supplier/contract management.
 Finalizing the Pre-qualification criteria for selection of vendors based on the inputs from Project Consultants and Client.
 Finalizing the list of prospective vendors / contractors in consultation with the Engineering team & Client.

 Coordinating with engineering team for conducting Technical Pre-bid meeting if required.

 Opening the Technical Bids and Co-ordinating with the Engineering Team for Technical evaluation of the Bids.
 Arranging for opening the Commercial Bids of ‘technically qualified vendors only’ as per guidelines of the company.
 Evaluating the Commercial bids, finalizing the techno-commercial terms & conditions; purpose of securing items and/or services within budget and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
 Arranging recommendations for approval from concerned authority for placement of Order /Contract.
 Arrange to issue LPO /Contract.

POST-ORDER EXECUTION

 Coordinating with the Engineering team for a Kick-off meeting.
 Tracking the status of the Contracts & Order.
 Monitoring Vendor performance compliance in terms of quality / stage-wise delivery as per agreed schedules.
 Ensuring compliance with a wide variety of procurement regulations and accounting procedures, and/or monitoring purchasing processes.
 Maintaining purchasing information, files and records (e.g. Requests for Proposal, purchase orders, vendor files, etc.)
 Ensuring timely submission of documentations for approval as per PO terms.
 Arranging bills for payment as per contract terms; Charge /forward invoices to appropriate accounts.
 Ensuring timely payments to vendors /contractors as per order / contractual terms.
 Arranging conference between suppliers and engineers, purchasers, inspectors and other company personnel to facilitate material inspection, substitution, standardization and economical procurement of equipments & parts.
 Coordinating with engineering team & Client - in carrying out periodic inspections / testing, FAT, SAT etc.
 Co-ordinates with the vendor/appointed agencies in logistics of product movement from vendor’s factory to site viz. all post dispatch activities viz. Forwarding, Transportation, shipments etc.
 Handling all ERP activity of Purchaseand issuing LOI to vendors.
