a) Deputy for Cost Team Manager, offering support and leadership to other Cost Engineers
b) Taking lead in preparing Budget Book/Phasing and yearly accrual reports for all company projects
c) Taking lead in expediting of Capital Expenditure (CAPEX)/Project Expenditure Reports on quarterly and yearly bases, then summarizing data for Client (KOC)
d) Preparing Quarterly Performance Review of Capital Expenditures

h) Leading brainstorming sessions for process reviews within Cost Control
i) Reviewing and processing of Contractor’s monthly invoices (including supporting documents and cashflows) based on Contract Terms & Conditions
j) Assisting Contracts Team in the review of Claims and Adjustment Order calculations
k) Assisting in Bid evaluation and guiding other Cost Engineers in Bid Evaluation process
l) Attending Monthly Progress Review meetings with KOC/Contractor and PMC representatives
m) Allocating, recording, monitoring, and controlling Project costs weekly and monthly
n) Preparing Project Manhour Plan (PMP)/Trends
o) Preparing Cost/Manhours Progress Sheets and Charts
p) Overseeing preparation and routing of Other Direct Costs (ODC) Requests
q) Allocating Management Fee/Fixed Lump Sum Fee budget to existing Projects
r) Training/mentoring new Cost Team members/Kuwaiti Trainees
s) Answering questions from KOC Project Controls on invoicing, budgets and cashflows
t) Performing other functions for Client like submitting cashflow forecasts, AFE Analysis, Projects Update, etc. as required
