alignment across entities.
• Acted as the Group cyber framework lead for DORA compliance, establishing regulatory KPIs and a
centralized tracking mechanism to ensure consistent alignment across all entities.
• Led the development of the Groups Blockchain Security Framework, defining governance, cryptographic
controls, and key lifecycle requirements for 5+ blockchain initiatives.
• Provided expert guidance on IAM, cryptography, key management, cloud security, and backup & restore,
supporting architectural decisions and regulatory expectations.
• Updated, harmonized, and rationalized +50 core cybersecurity policies and technical requirements to reflect
regulatory demands, industry best practices, and internal consistency needs.

• Strengthened the firms internal capabilities by participating in recruitment, coaching junior staff, and
designing Amazon Web Services based internal cloud training programs.

• Led engineering operations on submarine cable ships for large-scale optical cable deployments, each
project valued at ~$100M, executed in remote offshore and high-pressure environments.
• Worked daily in a highly multicultural environment, collaborating with crew and stakeholders from MENA,
Europe, Asia, and North America.
• Supervised a team of 3 engineers responsible for ensuring electrical and optical compliance during cable
laying, from onboard testing to in-situ issue resolution.
• Spent 3-4 months at sea per mission, operating with high autonomy, limited communication, and full
responsibility for technical decisions under operational constraints.
• Collaborated closely with captains, onboard leadership, and client representatives, ensuring alignment
on technical progress, risk mitigation, and mission objectives.
• Conducted end-to-end optical and electrical performance validation, resolving issues in real time to
maintain installation integrity and project timelines.
• Produced executive-level reporting and operational logs, reinforcing trust with clients and demonstrating
strong leadership in isolated, mission-critical environments.

• Supported 10+ projects in addressing security findings, tracking remediation actions, and ensuring solutions
met governance and compliance expectations.
