Implemented market research and inspection of workover rigs, equipment, and technical documentation.
Successfully installed 7” tie-back and patched the collapsed part of production casing.
Viewed and improved acid stimulation, wireline & slickline and coiled tubing operations programs, workover and P&A programs (ESP first run, ESP change, completion retrieval, fishing, milling)
Implemented Management of Change (MOC) system with benefit, thereby simplified and speeded up the process of receiving funds for the performed work from the Customer
Commissioned new 500HP workover rig and successfully put it into operations.
Reworked the work schedule to increase efficiency and shorten the workover time.
Supervised all drilling and workover operations in compliance with high HSE standards including Permit to Work system (PTW).
Formation integrity tests and all pressure tests were carried out in accordance with Chevron standards and to ensure that further work can be carried out safely.
Assessed BOP tests, Well Control Drills, H2S Drills, Mandown Drills and other essential HSE drills as per Chevron standards.
Wrote wells site operation reports, preparations of daily operations and 72 hr plan outlook program, liaising with drilling contractor and third-party business partners, logistics and equipment preparations, SIMOPS, Well abandonment and slot recovery.
Actively supported deployment of Weatherford Downhole deployment valve installation on 7” tieback liner.
Properly run downhole and upper completion (RIH frac sleeves with external casing packers), rig-less packer set jobs.
On this project, batch drilling was used, as a result, the drilling time was reduced by 4-5 days per well.
Defined the Completion and Testing procedures for Base of Design.
Led the Master drilling program for Salman-2 Exploration well (Block 12, Iraq).
Evaluated Technical bids (Exploration Drilling Tender, Block 12, Iraq).
