Responsible for all aspects of accounting and supervising accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, general ledger entries, develop process map of financial activity including collection, disbursement, procurement (selection of vendors/suppliers). Reduced general overhead cost by 15%.
Performing accounts receivable reporting and reconciliation procedures, monitoring the collection of fees; submission of monthly past dues aging analysis report and ensure 98% of collection target at the closing of the accounting period. Monitors and analyzes department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining accuracy of data.
Responsibility for ensuring accuracy and completeness of accounting for input and output VAT in the general ledger. Ownership of process for the preparation, validation and submission of quarterly VAT return filling and compliance of the relevant regulations of the FTA.
Monitor and analysis accounting data and produce monthly financial reports. Responsible for delivering timely and accurate financial, month end reports. Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure. Addressed and resolved non-routine, complex and unexpected variances. Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures.
Preparation of periodic financial statements. Preparation of budget, including any necessarily recommended action required to manage costs to achieve the budgeted target. Educate management on different strategies like cost/profitability.
Prepares, analyzes and implements payroll transactions on a timely manner such as payments of hours worked, personal time off, employee benefits, benefit deductions. Maintaining confidential information such as pay rates, honorarium paid, and other targets of management objectives.
Responds to inquiries from the external organization regarding financial and non-financial for the special reporting requests and requirements. Arrangement of BoGs meeting, writing minutes and preparation of other relevant documents/reports for the approval of BoGs and Chairman. In-charge of SSC/HSSC examination, registrations, admissions and doing all types of correspondence with the KHDA-Govt. of Dubai, & FBISE. Reporting to the Board & Principal.

Monitor adherence to the various regularity, procedures, policies, and internal controls by conducting an internal audit and ensure that they are providing sufficient internal controls. Conduct audit of specified business area and identify reportable issues and dimension of risk.
Develop risk-based audit plans detailing the scope, nature, and timing of the audit activities to assess the internal controls, accounting, and operational activities. Check the daily purchase and sales transactions and ensure the transparency and completeness of the financial activities. Review the accuracy, timeliness, and relevance of the financial information, budgeted information and other disclosures provided to the management. Checking monthly financial statements and relevant notes and GLs. Preparations of the monthly financial statements for the subsidiary companies.
Reviewing the export planning and ensure timely gate entry of the export containers on the targeted vessel to avoid the demurrage, detention and re-nomination charges. Checking rates and charges of the shipping line/ agents invoices before processing for the payments.
Ensure bank charges are as per bank offer letter. Checking of the payments vouchers (vendors and other) and reconciliation of the cash and bank (petty cash audit). Check and verify the JVs and ensure that were supported by documents. Review customers/vendors aging. Identify loopholes and recommend risk aversion measures and cost savings in all the function of the business.
Draft audit reports based on audit findings, flag problematic areas and recommend corrective action to mitigate risk and recurrence and follow-ups of unresolved issues. Conduct ad-hoc investigations and reviews as advised by Manager Audit/CEO or the MD/Board. Reporting to the Manager Audit/CEO.
