Manage and control the activities of the PMO division in order to ensure the proper implementation and execution of various IT programs and projects and to achieve the preset objectives, time frames, budgets and project management quality standards.
• Track and monitor the implementation of mission critical IT programs/projects in the bank to achieve the preset objectives, time frames, budgets and project management / quality standards.
• Develop and manage annual budgets and operating plans in order to enable accurate business planning and cost management.
• Track cross-functional, inter-project dependencies, priorities and resource allocation, program status, budget, and schedule and report this to the steering committee. Proactively identify and escalate risks/issues to the CIO and to project’s client as and when appropriate.
• Manage the preparation and maintenance of (PMO) templates and procedural documents including but not limited to: PMO Standards and Procedures Document, Program/ Project Progress Report Templates, Project Dashboard, Standard Risk/ Issues Logs, Project Documentation Checklists, etc.
• Participate in setting IT overall project strategy and coordination with PMO on clear roles and responsibilities.
• Enable the implementation, operation and ongoing support of standardized IT process within the bank, with specific responsibility for: Quality management, Issue resolution, Risk management, Benefits management, Resource management, Planning and control.
• Develop Board and Steering Committee presentations and follow up with their action items.
• Develop and implement sound program/project governance model that constitutes processes, roles & responsibilities, authorities, and communication method among Program/Project management functions in order to meet SHB Bank short/long term goals, objectives, and strategies.
Setup and Manage new Multi Mega Programs/Projects Portfolio Management Department to be able to implement all ELM IT base Programs and Projects (2+ Billion riyals Revenue, 200+ Staff).
Setup and Manage new Bids Management unit to manage Business Opportunities related to Programs/Projects Portfolio Management to create all ELM IT base Proposals (3+ Billion riyals Budget).
Responsible to setup, implement and control the following units & functions:
• Business Management
• Financial Management
• Governance Management
• Project Management
• Business Analysis Management
• Training Management
• Bids Management
• Responsible to prepare and manage Plans, Budget, Processes, and Performance
• Ensure successful launch, implementation, and completion of projects
• Managing projects “Replacing Billing System, CRM, ERP, POS, DWH, Data Center Upgrade, DR/BC, Roaming, SADAD, iPTT, MOI …”
• Collaborating with project teams, interfacing with vendors, and deploying technology to build successful solutions for organization.
• Lead large project teams (from multiple departments) of 20+ people from requirements gathering through to implementation and support.
• Systems integration and consulting - Customize and integrate leading technologies and software applications to create IT systems that meet clients' strategic needs.
• Business process services - Manage business processes and transactions on behalf of clients, allowing them to concentrate on their core business, strengthen their competitiveness and improve their bottom line
• Application management - Provide maintenance and improvement for clients' business applications, helping reduce costs and ensure faster delivery of new initiatives.
• Analyze customer needs, document requirements and recommendations
• Evaluate costs of implementations (Prepare Business Cases)
• Approach external suppliers for existing solutions in terms of commercial packages
• Make detailed project plans and follow up on projects from beginning to end
• Be an active part in all stages of a project life-cycle (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Testing, Training, and Support)
• Control all stages of project life-cycle (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Testing, Training, and Support)
• Be responsible to control and support remote sites
• Take the challenge to develop a critical applications
