(a) Supervise and control the implementation of Social Safety Net Program SSNP to ensure that relevant programme criteria are applied: - Carrying frequent reviews and checks on SSNP Family Files to ensure proper documentation, safety and confidentiality;
- Approving the enrolment of refugee families in SSNP for provision of assistance according to the Relief Services Instructions;
- Ensuring regular and timely preparation of priority lists of SSNP families for assistance (ration and cash subsidy distribution, shelter, etc.);
- Conducting random field visits to active SSNP families to ensure reliability of collected individual and family data and adherence of the implementing staff to the standard eligibility criteria on SSNP Assistance, and providing relevant training, guidance/advice to Social Workers, where and when necessary;
- Monitoring and following-up on the distribution process to ensure efficient smooth running of food rations and cash subsidies in accordance with the policies, and conducting regular inspections on food distribution centers/mobile distribution units;
- Coordinating and following-up the distribution team, finance clerk, heads of divisions and concerned staff on timely and proper/efficient delivery/response of approved/ recommended assistance to SSNP clients;
- Planning and holding regular meetings with Relief and Social Services staff for information sharing, problem solving and coordination, and ensuring that the Programmes are well publicized in the area.
(b) Coordinating and conducting training activities for Community Development Social Workers (CDSW) staff: - Providing technical, administrative and logistical support to the CDSWs on the several services programs run in the area (women, disability, community microcredit, children, adolescents, youth, aged etc.);
- Co-coordinating with the Registration Officer in the area on the implementation of eligibility and registration instructions, manuals and procedures governing its activities;
- Promoting integrated activities targeting clients and ensuring that the poorest families' needs are addressed through this approach;
- Coordinating for pre-planned needs assessment studies carried out by CDSWs, and liaises with UN organization, local community organizations and NGOs to improve networking, coordination and enhancing use of local assets and resources including other UNRWA programs and projects;
- Ensuring providing promptly the direct relief assistance for any emergency case and co-coordinating with other providers to the required services;
- Acting as the focal point for refugees' inquiries and petitions; encouraging community members to actively participate in the Community-Based Organizations' (CBOs) activities; maintains custodianship over the available premises In the community;
- Preparing the reports including monthly/quarterly and other required reports.
- Preparing and raising project proposals to the donors for supporting and funding any community needs.
