• Determine project needs and program of work, planning the forecast project’s delivery and installation schedule. This will lead to establish a link between procurement process and construction process.
• Revise and divide the bill of quantity into packages and collect for each the related specs and drawings to send the requests for quotations.
• Prepare a list of potential suppliers based on market study.
• Meet salespeople and check for alternative’s material based on supplier’s evaluation.
• Prepare a Bid Comparison Sheet where highlighting not only price differences but also the different payment terms, incoterms, shipment, lead time, wastage, logistic and warranty.
• Negotiate prices, sales agreements and terms and delivery dates to purchase the required products.
• Issue contract to the suppliers/subcontractors and follow up on payment production & delivery.
• Report on weekly basis a Material Tracking Sheet to control the full process.
• Tracking any engineering changes that impact material or supplier, to adjust orders accordingly.
• Attending technical and progress meetings with the contractors/clients' representatives and authorities.
• Monitor and drive spend visibility across the regions procurement function
• Support and align to Strategic Sourcing plans
• Monitor purchase orders and adherence to supplier agreements
• Manage supplier performance (commercial, delivery, and quality)
• Assesses and organizes logistics and procurement procedures in terms of purchase orders, shipment deliveries, transport requirements, receipt, handling, storage and distribution of relief items and establishes proper warehousing and recording systems including assets.
• Track & manage contemplated change notices and change orders in the database
• Prepare substantial completion certificates and ensure all required project close out documents are obtained.
• Sourcing the most affordable materials for the company’s purchasing process.
• Reviewing and evaluating quotes and proposals
• Inspection and Qualifying product specification and supplier’s proposal
• Prepare reports and summarize data including sales report and book value.
• Schedule store visits and conduct competitor survey.
• Execution and monitoring of all regular purchasing duties.
• Locates, provides and maintains suitable accommodation and negotiate reasonable leasing agreements.
• Negotiates contract with private landlords.
• Assist with public relations, payroll and opening/ closing monthly and yearly budgets
• Develop, and maintain all aspects of business accountancy, marketing, and data processing of company.
• Worked on financial budgeting, capital expenditure, cash flow and foreign-exchange dealings.
