e. Job Description :
• Coordinate construction activity of E&I contractors
• Setting out the works in accordance with the drawings and specification
• Conduct regular briefing with site team to follow-up and report on the work progress in order to anticipate any possible delays with regards to planned tasks.
• Provide Technical Support to other site team members
• Conduct regular meetings with project team, consultants and contractor to solve technical issues and other related matters
• Evaluate and resolve any discrepancies and problems arising during construction which affect the quality of works performed
• Enforce the relevant safety regulation and implementation.
• Conduct regular inspections and assess the work performance done by E/I contractors and subcontractor.
• Coordinate site test and inspection: grounding system, lighting system, cable tray and layout, lightning protection, cable insulation, motor, etc.
• Support the site activities including Pre-commissioning / commissioning;
• Support Electrical Equipment installation, test and commissioning of:

3x1600 kVA and 2x 2000kVA Geafol dry type transformer by Siemens

• Schedules, Equipment / Cable Routing / Tray Lay-out Drawings, Grounding System Lay-out and Details, Installation Standard Drawings
Handling project upgrading capacity of utility and production.
Responsibilities included:
Develop concept and basic design.
Initiates major equipment specifications inquiries.
Liaise approve alternative proposals with the other discipline engineers.
Provide preliminary cost estimation.
Provide deliverable: Engineering Calculation, Equipment Specifications, Equipment Data Sheet, Tender Bid Evaluation, Equipment RFQ, MTO and Drawing.
Develop detailed drawings including the preparation of: Single Line Diagrams, Schematic Diagrams, Cable Schedules, Interconnection Schedules, Equipment / Cable Routing / Tray Lay-out Drawings, Grounding System Lay-out and Details, Installation Standard Drawings
Responsibilities included:
Scope the full extent of maintenance work needed to conduct the relevant repair / preventive / predictive / design-out activities on the organization’s plant and equipment.
Write applicable maintenance procedures that promote defect-free maintenance work quality Plans, administers and coordinates multiple, special projects; organizes and employs resources to achieve project objectives; prepares and monitors project material.
Develop work pack for electrical and instrument preventive maintenance
Develop cost and time estimates of planned maintenance work
Purchase all necessary parts, equipment, services and documentation to perform the maintenance work
Responsibilities included:
Basic Engineering stages:
Develops the proposed project scope and alternative project .
Develop concept and basic design.
Initiates major equipment specifications inquiries.
Liaise approve alternative proposals with the other discipline engineers.
Provide preliminary cost estimation.
Considers the Constructability, Maintainability and Operability for each of the proposed alternatives scopes.
Participates in the HAZOP sessions.
Detailed Engineering stages:
Provide material specifications, Materials Requisition, Bill of Materials documents
Generate new drawings as required for the project & mark-up existing drawings to reflect the new design.
Develop detailed engineering calculations, cable sizing and drawings including the preparation of: Single Line Diagrams, Schematic Diagrams, Cable Schedules, Interconnection Schedules, Equipment Lay-outs, Cable Routing and Lay-out Drawings, Cable Trench/Tray Lay-out Drawings, Grounding System Lay-out and Details, Installation Standard Drawings
Produce Engineering Work Package
Construction stages:
Field inspection periodically to ensure work is technically being performed in accordance with EWP requirements.
Pre-commissioning of all installed equipment and completion of any deficiencies.
Resolve any inter discipline related construction problems.
Ensure the construction is being installed to meet the completion dates.
Ensure the Q/A (Quality Assurance) requirements are implemented.
Reviewing of the Contractor/Consultant measurement of progress of work.
Commissioning and Hand-over stages:
Ensure all tests and documentation is complete.
Provide commissioning procedures & ensure correct procedures are carried out during energizing equipment.
Carry out test running of all equipment.
Carry out full performance checks of the project systems.
Ensure any changes to the original design are effected on the construction “As-built” drawings.
Responsibilities included:
responding to customer call-outs;
evaluating and resolving problems;
assisting with the installation of equipment;
liaising with and working alongside technical sales engineers;
offering customer training;
repairing, testing and maintaining equipment;
monitoring the performance of products;
maintaining manuals;
providing customers with regular reports and feedback on their service requests;
developing and maintaining relationships with customers;
making recommendations to maintenance technicians;
offering feedback on future product development, features and functions
Responsibilities included:
designing maintenance strategies, procedures and methods;
planning and scheduling planned and unplanned work;
diagnosing breakdown problems;
directing, instructing and supervising maintenance technicians and fitters;
liaising with client departments and customers;
controlling maintenance tools, stores and equipment;
monitoring and controlling maintenance costs;

Perform routine maintenance program;
