The Provision of Water Tanks to Underserved Communities in Southern Ghor

Acting as project manager, developing communication plan, project planning, implementation monitoring, CfW selection and supervision, representing BORDA in front of relative stakeholders, and project evaluation.
Capacity building for Azraq Municipality to improve sanitation services
Client: Azraq Municipality. Financer: IsDB
Lead the treated wastewater reuse component. Implementing pilot treated wastewater reuse in agriculture project aimed to highlight the common mistakes in the reuse behavior, through training and workshops. Coordination with relevant stakeholders and supervising CfW.
-Conduct a review of YCLE TMP data collection tools for USAID WASH interventions, to ensure that all questionnaire topics and items are relevant to the activity or learning need for which the tool is developed.
-Review documentation and photos and provide an assessment on the utility and relevance and if meet IP requirements and specifications.
EU MADAD - WASH project including; pump stations upgrading, WASH facilities in schools-construction and rehabilitation, water pipelines installation, households WASH rehabilitation and hygiene promotion in Irbid, Ajloun, Ramtha and Jordan Valley

Supervise, monitor and ensure the quality of the designs and implementation of activities throughout the project. Performing the planning and execution stages of the activities in line with the WASH technical team, partners, local authorities, and stakeholders. Leading 300 HHs WaSH component starting from initial assessment to HHs selection and rehabilitation.
Dam construction project
Manage Submittals
Responsible for the accurate processing of submittals in order to ensure the correct products and materials are installed throughout the project. Also manage the submittal log and coordinate submittal drawings with subcontractors. Submittals must be managed according to high industry standards.
Ensure Compliance
Ensuring the project is compliant in all ways. This involves verifying that contractors and all other contract work are compliant with the terms of the contract. Makes sure that project work stays compliant with industry standards, specifications, building codes, and design instructions.
Keep Accurate Records
Keep accurate and detailed project records. Organize these records in a way that makes it easy for the project manager and other project members to access the appropriate documents.
Resolve Project Matters
By being involved in all areas of the project, and aware of emerging issues. I act as liaisons between project management, subcontractors, and site engineers to resolve problems before they stall the project’s progress.
Monitor the Budget
Responsible for monitoring budget to ensure the project is staying on track. This includes checking project plans and drawings to verify authenticity and accuracy. If there are any problems with the budget, the office engineer communicates those problems to project management in a timely manner.
Site visits
Frequent visits to site give excellent technical knowledge in designs and constructions of RCC, backfill dams, gabions, check dams, ripraps and any other measure related to dam construction or to reduce flood and soil erosion.
Proven technical understanding of soil erosion prevention measures.

Oversee construction projects from beginning to end
Manage the budget and estimate costs
Determine the necessary equipment, materials, and manpower needed
Keep track of inventory, tools and equipment
Ensure supplies and equipment are ordered and delivered according to schedule

Train and mentor construction workers and construction laborers depending on the size of the project
Collaborate with subcontractors, engineers, architects and key team members of the project team
Negotiate with external vendors on contract agreements
Obtain the appropriate permits and licenses from authorities for construction sites
Plan construction operations
Ensure all deadlines are met
Hire contractors and staff including construction laborers
Delegate responsibilities
Allocate and manage resources to ensure that they are available when they are needed throughout the construction projects
Keep all stakeholders aware of the progress on projects and prepare progress reports regularly
Handle any environmental or local community issues that may come up during a project
Conduct site checks to monitor progress and quality standards
